Only one reason that this sits atop of kebab joints in Cardiff– chicken shawarma with fresh naan from a tandoor!

As far as I’m aware, KBS stands for kebabs, burgers and sausages! Great eh? Or am I confusing it with another business in this area that goes by the same name? I’m not sure?
What I do know is that KBS Restaurant and Takeaway, or KBS Kebab House, as they are also known, are one of the many kebab takeaways on City Road, that to my mind have failed to distinguish themselves from the rest. Offering kebabs and pizza alongside a number of other low cost fast food items that remain ever popular, there is not a great deal of originality to what they do. The premises are always kept clean, but conform to the typical takeaway format, even though they have a few tables and chairs permitting people to eat in. Can you tell that I’m not really a fan?
I’m sorry, KBS is fine for what it is, and it’s prices are eminently affordable. It’s just that it’s all a little to plastic-​fantastic and lacking in character for my liking. I would much prefer to pay a little extra and go to Troy or Aladdin instead.
