After visiting this Starbucks for the last few years while on vacation, my husband and I were happy to see that this location has upgraded their computer system to accept the Starbucks card.

Starbucks in Puerto Rico is as almost same price drinks as how much it is in New York City. This particular starbucks can be really busy. It is a tourist spot, it is located near the cruisehiphip port. It is a good feeling to have a taste of it after a long journey on a cruise without having them for like almost 4 days. Just to add you will have to pay extra taxes like city taxes and state taxes.

Stopped here while exploring old San Juan in the scorching heat. I had a shaken green tea lemonade and my mom got the mixed fruit juice«mango madness» drink. We both got a salami and provolone sandwich on a pretzel roll. Everything was fast, hot, and delicious. Drinks were both really good and totally hit the spot in he blazing heat. Highly recommend this location.

Right smack dab in the middle of the tourist trap! I’m a little biased because I love starbucks and I love my island! #wepa!!! 4 out of 5 stars because the restroom needed a little tidying up, besides that customer service was outstanding and very attentive. I went in to solely get my bestie a starbucks mug from puerto rico, walked out with pound cake slices and Frappuccino lol gotta love San Juan and Starbucks :-) 2 of the best places on earth!

Nutella cheese stick? What? I said, what? My friend said it was interesting but she probably would not get it again. Clean inside, nice staff, a bit slow, but then again we were after someone who ordered for 4 people including food. I would expect more staff on in the morning, but maybe they put more on on days when there is a cruse ship in.

I didn’t get much, only a water, but the wife got a frozen lattea and she enjoyed it quite a bit, it was warm, so it made sense. They have free wi-fi here, so it’s a good place to stop, check email, get on media and see what else is around the ilsland. I walked around this place and found it to be one of the biggest I’ve seen in quite a long time, plus they have an entire office staff in the back that deals with all Starbucks on the island. Nice place to stop into when in San Juan.

Closest sbux to port. Looks deceptively small but more tables in the back. Consistent coffee with most other starbucks. And bonus, they have almond milk! Woo-hoo for us non milk drinkers! Barista very friendly and a great spot to chill before getting back to ship.

This was a decent Starbucks, they do not seem to be a corporate café which explained why they could not take the app. No matter though, they were friendly enough. A little more odd then most Starbucks I have gone to. They had birthday signs behind the bar with birthday hats on each of the employees. For my girlfriend who has Verizon Wireless, the WiFi was very helpful as they do not have service in PR. Having AT&T, I was able to use cellular service as soon as we docked. Still, the WiFi was pretty fast and they seemed happy to give you the code for whatever device you brought with as long as you purchased something. All and all, was a nice store and would go again.

Stopped here while visiting my hometown since last time I was here, Starbucks wasn’t. Picked up my Puerto Rico coffee mugs which were sold in boxes, great for traveling. Some treats were based on location, and I had a quesito with Nutella, which they offered to warm up for me. Staff was courteous and friendly. Only drawback is that they don’t take phone app or Starbucks reward card for payment but did mention that it was in the works. As often as I visited, I would’ve loved to have gotten my rewards, but oh well.

I had a few hours in San Juan while on a stopover during a recent cruise, intending to pick up a San Juan coffee cup as part of the Starbucks travel cup collection. I was a little disappointed when I was told they probably had some but they were in the back in boxes, and they wouldn’t have them out until the next day, and seeing how I didn’t think the Captain of my ship would wait for me, I went with my old standby of an Americano. Unlike most of the Sbux locations I visit in the States, this one didn’t seem to have much in the way of seating area. There were a lot of people in line who got their coffee and left, but no one really hung around. Service was fast and consistent with what I’ve come to expect with service at Sbux.

Free wifi here which is great if you are on a cruise ship. Store is large with plenty of seating and typical coffee fare. Touristy but that’s okay because. …well I’m a tourist.

No, it has no local authenticity. This is exactly the same as the Starbucks location on the corner near to your workplace, your home, and every hotel you’ve ever visited in the continental United States. But it does have iced tea without sugar(unlike every other restaurant I’ve visited so far in Old San Juan) and every other Starbucks classic that you’re looking for.

Always great to enjoy a coffee and get down work done in peace. But with the popularity of this chain, all the tourists want some Starbucks instead of trying local coffee! After about an hour it was completed bombarded with tourists even sitting on the flour. With that comes an awful wireless connection, loud background, and random people leaving their trash everywhere. 3 stars for the friendly service and clean bathrooms. Tourist etiquette: Please don’t show up to a Starbucks and act like it’s the club. Most people are working.

Cool vibe. Like the other reviewers stated, they will give you a discount since you cannot use your Starbucks card there. The building was huge and had lots of places to sit.

Starbucks was a welcome sight for me in Old San Juan. This location is huge. And stylish. And well laid out. And even though we were basically right in and out, it’s always great to stumble across an fold friend.

Fast service, huge seating area with lounge chairs and tables, great bathrooms… But watch out for the green umbrella tables outside… Those ARENOT part of Starbucks and the hostesses of the restaurants they belong to will relentlessly chase you away! Luckily, if you walk down a little further, there is a fountain and some nice tree shade to sit under.

I wandered into this Starbucks because I was exploring Old San Juan at around 6AM in the morning, and by the time I was walking around the peninsula, it was only 7AM and nothing else was opened. I decided to take a break inside this Starbucks, and was pleasantly greeted by one of the baristas who spoke very fluent English and even gave me a discount for having a Starbucks Gold card.(Starbucks Gold Cards /Gift Cards unfortunately do not work in Puerto Rico, but they can give you a small discount for the inconvenience if you show them your card.) The drink came with the usual Starbucks consistency and brand. No problems there. What I loved about this place was how spacious it is; definitely misleading from the storefront. In fact, it almost seemed like it just kept going as you keep walking in. There are plenty of seats available in the rooms deeper into the building. I was just happy having somewhere to plug in my phone and relax until I could eat breakfast around the corner. Cheers for the reliability of Starbucks.

this has to be one of my top 10 Starbucks, reason being A. they rock some coffee house chalk art. B. cozy seating with fedora hats on the wall in the back(Viva la Boriqua style) and C. friendly staff and patrons. Waling distance near the port if you are on a cruise, nice little break before or after hitting up the fort. Free WIFI Aiy Mommy me likey

Typical Starbucks but with sabor portorriqueño. They had some different lattes and desserts with local flavor available. I tried the Coquito Spice cake. It’s moist with a coconutty flavor. Delish!

Relieved to find a Starbucks after a day of walking around in San Juan… I was in desperate need of an iced vanilla latte! The line was out the door! Apparently, everyone else was in desperate need too! Service was excellent, drinks were consistent with every Starbucks. My only complaint was that you can’t use your Starbuck’s card and earn your stars! I saved all of my receipts from every one of my visits and will be writing corporate to get my points! :0
