I stayed in the area for five days and found this place to have the best coffee by far in San Juan. In addition, they’re breakfast and lunch empanadas were fantastic as well. I actually signed up on their mailing list and plan on ordering their coffee online when it becomes available… Definitely give it a shot if you are in the area.

Cute little place. After trying their mallorca, I understood why everyone is raving about it. I had it before at Pinky’s and wasn’t impressed. Very friendly service. As I mentioned we had mallorca with guava jam (to die for!) and carrot cake (very good). Their coffee is good too. Too bad we tried this place at the end of our stay and didn’t get to go back.

Went to this place because of the Mallorcas, a type of bread that is really fluffy and light, lighter than a croissant. We had one with butter no sugar, great, but with sugar and guava they are to die for (and I don’t usually go for sugary stuff). The mallorcas were so good we ended ordering another with ham and cheese and another with guava.
The staff was super friendly throughout all this choosing, they were great. And the coffee was excellent.

$ 5 for a small iced coffee? I definitely left this place feeling a little ripped off. (Small as in probably an 8oz. cup.) You are probably better off going to Dunkin’ Donuts or taking a nice walk down to Pinky’s.

Second time here this trip, ordered the chicken breast foccacia bread (way better than back home) sandwich, mocha latte, and mallorca with guava butter (ordered extra to take back home) for dessert.

Only if i know how good this place was I would have been here many more times instead of the last day of my PR trip. The latte is just to die for. They have there own coffee beans. They have a lot of things they make themselves. But I was only there for one thing my latte. Great service and friendly to. It did take awhile for them to give me my coffee but its not Starbucks where there are many machines. The take there time so the coffee you receive is great.
