Not a fan of this place. Service was slow and messy, waiters and hosts weren’t in synch and they seemed to be lost at what they were doing. Food was«meh». Not a great taste but not awful either. Drinks were really expensive. Place is more for those who want to hang out at the bar and make loud noises.

Stopped by for a drink and some pork. Had the señor sereno — strong and small– great flavor and eccentric. Tried the Tres Cerdos appetizer — sausage, smoked pork and chicharron. Smoked pork was best. Sausage was unique — interesting. Mustard based sauce. Service was responsive and pleasant.

Ordered a long island ice tea and it was horrible. The first drink you make in bar — tending school is a Long Island iced tea but the service was horrible it took us an hour to get food an hour to get our bill and the waitress included a tip and we never saw her again after she took our order. Food was extremely tasty and the staff was very friendly. Great outdoor seating area for dining and people watching.

This was my favorite place to eat in PR, hands down(& I’ve been around). It hit all the right checkboxes — great food, great service, great ambiance. To start, we had chicken wings tossed in some sort of sauce which was very tasty and a good amount for the price. My boyfriend had the salmon with the house rice as his main course. The salmon was well seasoned, fresh and cooked just right. The house rice was also well seasoned and very tasty. I had the pechuga de pollo, which was well flavored, although I would recommend having it grilled instead of breaded. Overall, the meal was very filling and tasty. We sat outside and took in the ambiance of la Placita de Santurce. I would highly recommend this place on a Friday night!

I’ve been back and forth to Puerto Rico for over a year on business. One of my favorite places was closed so decided to give this a shot. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! I had the Octopus and the Mahi-Mahi — two thumbs way up!!!

Went here the other night for dinner. Restaurant is located in the back of Placita, around the corner from Jose Enrique. I got the Risotto de Longaniza, it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly, great consistency and flavor. It took a little while to come out but it was worth it. Was served with some sort of avocado-based hot sauce, which was no shit the best hot sauce I think I’ve ever had. With a Modelo to drink, everything came out to like $ 30 with tip. Not too bad, but at $ 15 the Risotto was probably the cheapest entrée on the menu… so it’s a little pricey here. Wait staff was courteous and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. I would probably come back.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I recently went to Puerto Rico with a group of friends and decided to try this place out. There was 15 of us so to make things easier we told the hostess that we don’t mind splitting into two tables. Half of the group sat inside the other half sat outside. We got our menu from the hostess and we quickly agreed to share two appetizers. Our waiter came and took our drink order. When she came back with the drinks we gave her the appetizer order and told her we were still checking out the menu for our entrée. We finally decide what to eat but she’s not around to take our order. The appetizers came and we finished eating them and she still no where to be seen. The other half of the group was already finished with their meal and we here still waiting to place our order. I had to flag another server and asked her to call our server so we can order our entrée. There was 6 of us on the table and most of us ordered the churrasco steak with the chimichurri sauce. When I got my food I was very disappointed. They gave me a churrasco with chopped yellow peppers, onions and a sweet mango glaze. For those of you that don’t know what a chimichurri sauce is, it’s a green sauce made with finely-chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, and white vinegar. This mango sauce has nothing in common with chimichurri sauce. I told the server but she said, that’s their version of chimichurri. I was annoyed that they ruined my steak but I didn’t want to waste time getting something else so I just scrapped the fake sauce off. And ate it. So finally we finished our meal. We are waiting for the server again to ask her for the check. We got tired of waiting so I got up, went inside and asked the hostess to tell our server we need our check. We see through the window she went to get her but our server was too busy talking to another worker. So the hostess walk away and we waited some more while the server finished talking to the other server. She finally comes outside and I asked her for our check. Tell me why after I asked her to get our check she stops at the door and starts talking to another server right in front of us! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Because of her taking her sweet time, I couldn’t enjoy my night at the placita because by the time we where done eating and paying, every place was closing. Beyond annoyed with this place.

Great environment and pretty good food. Came for lunch but seems that coming in the evening just eat tapas and have a drink will be the best experience. They have a great tapas selection. Great service.

Excellent! Had a pumpkin cream for starters. It was very good! But the entrée was even better. Had a Mahi Mahi filet(with a chicharron crust) and yuca mash. It was perfect!!! Cant wait to come back and try something else. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices. Two thumbs up!
