We recently visited Puerto Rico and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites. Guacamayo is the pool bar for that hotel, and although small and quite unassuming, the food is actually quite good. My only complaint is that during a relatively busy time, the wait for our food is considerably long, but it has a small cooking surface and one cook doing all the work, so I can see how it’s not meant to handle massive crowds. My party and I tried several different items off the menu, from the churrasco, to the chicken quesadilla, Cajun chicken, and burgers. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the cheeseburger. They are apparently quite famous for their burgers, and I can see why. It was so incredibly juicy and flavorful. It’s super basic with a slice of American cheese and basic fixings on the side, but it was incredibly satisfying. I can see now why this small pool bar at a hotel across from the airport has a reputation for great burgers! And it also doesn’t hurt that it’s attached to the pool, with a wet bar, and surrounded by palm trees. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites, and the awesome burger I had at Guacamayo definitely helped!

4÷28÷15 Had the grilled chicken sandwich. Large piece of chicken grilled fresh in front of you. Very tasty. Fresh bread. For a little pool bar not bad.

Few know about this simple outdoor Rican-kiosk. Great spot for a very casual outdoor meal.
