The cheese fondue is great! Excellent with broccoli, bread, and potatoes. The meat fondue was so-so. The salad with mayo dressing and bell peppers was AMAZING.

The truffle fondue tasted like a bottle of alcohol was dumped in it. A friend had recommended it and my two friends and I left disappointed, confused(cheese that tastes like alcohol?) and hungry because we barely ate the weird fondue.

Went here last night(Friday) with my bf during our visit in Amsterdam. We went around 8pm and there weren’t many people there. Fast forward about 20 minutes and the place was packed! There was only one waiter and one cook for the entire restaurant and I felt really bad for them. I’m not sure if there is normally one waiter for a Friday night and if so, the restaurant should really consider hiring a second because our waiter seemed so stressed! Regardless, he was super helpful and friendly with us. We got the cheese fondue for 2 and we were stuffed. We had so much fondue left at the end. Overall good experience though.

One word: Discriminatory. Well despite my previous 2 star review, when I saw the Groupon for Fondue & Fondue, I felt like the sweet-baby-Yelp-Jesus was whispering in my ear«Megan, give them another try… you know how much you love melted cheese.» «What the hell?» I thought, and bought the Groupon. Pleasantly, I found out a few days later that another friend had bought the same Groupon so we planned a double date with ourselves and our significant others. Unfortunately, that date could never happen. Not because of availability — when calling the restaurant and asking for a table for 4, there was no problem there. The minute a Groupon is mentioned, however, you are relegated to a second class citizen. There is a system where you apparently have to book the table online and it is different from actual availability. When I questioned the manager about this inconsistency(I believe I said, «So you are telling me you have empty tables tonight, but my friends and I can’t come occupy those tables because we want to use the Groupons that we purchased to dine in this restaurant?» He said in a way that can only be described as ‘demeaning’ that the restaurant can serve whoever it wants, whenever it wants. I’m fortunate to be in a position where I can dine out a few times a week without relying on the deals that Groupon provides; I will just go somewhere else tonight. I find this practice of limiting people who are using groupons when there is CLEAR availability, devious, wrong and discriminatory. Shame on you Fon-DONT.(There, I finally got to use it for real!). And by the way, if you are an established business, if you are running Groupon deals, you need me more than I need you thanksverymuch.

Delicious food and quality fondue. Meats were very tender. Cheese dip was flavorful.
