We’ve been there twice. The first time the food was excellent and so was the service. The second time we’ve placed a reservation. After we got our seats we waited a long time to receive the menu card. The apéritif was served after the drinks. The waitress did not notice us anymore. Service can be fine but you need to go there early.
We got the impression that the fondue was not as good as the first time, too.

A random find on a side street turned out to be a really great relaxing meal. I had the pasta risotto with veg, but I’m sure the meats are good too. Food was delicious and very filling. I had no room for desert, but got a lovely complimentary nut liqueur to finish the meal. Lovely waitress and nice relaxing ambiance with light jazz in background. Just like I was in Grenoble.

This place was amazing! The ambiance made me feel like I was in the French Alps. The service couldn’t have been better. i’ve never seen happier people working in a restaurant. And the food was to die for! Love this place. A must stop while your in Amsterdam.
Best charcuterie plate I’ve had ever. I loved the pickles! And I had the gratin as my entrée and it was by far the most indulgent gratin I’ve ever had. So much cheese and bacon plus a side of salad. perfection.
