I had the best meal of my Italian trip here! I went with a large group and we all ordered different things, so I got to taste it all. There was risotto with red wine and cheese, gnocchi,(gnocchi, by the way, is probably the most consistently yummy thing in this region), onion soup, roasted veggies and caprese. Italian food in general is usually pretty simple, simply relying on superior ingredients and complimentary taste pairings. The food at this place had that little extra taste sophistication that made it really special. It’s also a beautiful restaurant visually, we ate in the basement, which is spacious and immaculately interiorized. It was an amazing meal. We may even try to return before we leave for home.

Recommended by our hotel the first night here and it was all that and more. The food was delicious, the waiters were friendly and helpful as we asked questions. Jean Marie was our waiter and he made an excellent recommendation of a local wine and even served homemade unlabeled nocino as a treat after dinner when the Venetian style bass was not my favorite. The polenta was delicious but the bass was drenched in fatty sauce and was dry and tasteless. Everything else we tried was excellent. After amazing nocino and limoncello, we closed down the place and never felt rushed. Fantastic meal and excellent service.

How good does a restaurant have to be to go twice on a trip to Italy? This good. One of our favorites in all of our travels. The cured meats were sensational, the pumpkin ravioli was nice, the truffle pasta was among the best we’ve had, a very solid veal chop, good service, and nice house wines. It’s got a great outdoor seating area and a huge indoor dining room.

I travel extensively for business, so it is a delight to find a place where you feel like part of the family, even if you live 6,000 miles away! Sarah and her family have assembled one of the best teams in Europe. They remember your name, your wine preferences and always have a table waiting for you. The food is consistently good, the wine list spectacular and the service is first class. All in a warm, comfortable environment. The perfect place to relax after a busy day seeing the sights of Verona.

Lovely place to have dinner, cute outdoor area! This place was recommended by my friend that travels to Verona annually. The food was great, got the pasta trio sampler and osso bucco. YUM! Service was wonderful! I will definitely be going back whenever I’m in town!
