Best place to try pizza in Italy. They have good vegetarian selection.

This is a little place to eat standing up but the design is very modern, the girl who runs it is very nice and the food is simply delicious. Sometimes simple is the best. I strongly recomend to have a piece of pizza in Batti Batti!

There are two places here named this. They appear to be owned by the same people. One serves fried items and the other focaccia items. Both are great! They are both in the Main Street in town, the fried store front is first when coming from the train station. Both are take away, so go down to the basin and enjoy it!

Tried the margherita focaccia, most likely the best focaccia I’ve tasted. Other types looked equally as good, will definitely be going here every day during our stay. One downfall was that it was a bit pricey, 4 euros for a piece of focaccia.

Got the tri color foccacia. Glad they wanted it up, but felt like it didn’t really compete with a small other ones we had in the other towns. Also it was definitely more pricey.

I ate here twice in 3 days. The best focaccia pizza in the world! They have many choices and quick in and out, great for a slice on the go. Amazing pesto and salumi. Yum!

Delicious fried seafood. Spotted the local piazza musician here, so you know it’s good. Best item is the calamari, but you knew that already.

I went here a few times during our stay in Vernazza when we didn’t want a full blown meal at a restaurant and as a post-hiking meal. I’ll admit I walked by it several times before finally deciding to give it a try. There are actually two shops under Batti Batti and this one serves pizza and focaccia while the other shop located a few steps more inland serves up fried goods. We didn’t hear good things about their other shop, but this one in particular is not to be missed! For about 3 – 4 euros, you get a slice of pizza that is like nothing you’ve tried before. Their pizza crust is airy with just the right amount of crisp, and the ingredients they use taste so fresh and delicious. I’ve had the pizza tricolore & the focaccia lilleta — both were just amazing. This is a take-away place so there are no seats inside, but take it to the rocks by the water and you get good food + a beautiful view. Nothing better than this. Please give this place a try!

After hiking, I came here for a refuel snack. I got the calamari which was eh. It was too greasy for my taste and there wasn’t enough flavor. Portions are generous though.

The pesto pizza was so yummy! Definitely stop here when you come to vernazza… There was a huge line but it was definitely worth the wait…

Perfect place for a quick take away lunch or dinner. Prices were reasonable and the focaccia pizza was really good. It was perfect for us to grab some pizza and walk around Vernazza.

Decent place to grab a slice of pizza. Our pesto topped slice was tasty and soft and the only thing that left a slightly bad taste in the mouth was that it was 4 Euros for a slice. This is a walk up stall where you take away so no seating.

Awesome, Awesome pizza. Batti Batti is an easily missed tiny«sandwich shop»( Unilocal is incorrect on sandwich shop) in a small part of the Cinque Terre villages — Vernazza. Do not be deceived, this tiny pizza place delivers some of the best Pizza we’ve had. Keep in mind that this entire region of Italy is well known for it’s pesto, and Batti Batti delivers accordingly. I would strongly, strongly recommend the tricolore pizza with the pesto, and really anything here — food is phenomenal and inexpensive. There’s not much to be said of a tiny location other than that trying the food here is an absolute, absolute must. If you’re going for a crazy pesto food stop, make this location in vernazza the place to go. When you get off the train and you’re walking towards the coast it’ll be on your right side. Just look for where a ton of people are lined up eating pieces of pizza in the narrow street area, way before the pier.

Another great little place in Vernazza where you can just walk up, grab whatever looks tasty, and be on your way. No muss, no fuss. I LAVA it! And besides being super affordable and not having to wait for waiter service, this place boasts some mean focaccia bread pizza delights. They warm them up in their oven, and out comes crispy, little slices of pizza heaven. So good! Also, if you’re feeling like a beer would taste better than that soda with your grub, they’ll pop one open for ya! Gotta love Italy! :) So go, enjoy some tasty ‘street’ food. You won’t regret it!
