Amazing bar in one of the most beautiful squares of Italy!
I love to come here with my mum and dad because the atmosphere is so relaxing and reminds me when the city was ruled by the Austrian King loooooooooong time ago ;)
Absolutely try the cold chocolate, in a wine glass with a strawberry, how fancy, huh? Because the owner of the bar produce the most amazing chocolate of the region! If you visit during winter of course stop there and try the hot cocoa, so yummy you can’t imagine! Both versions come with a small Italian pastry, what do you want more?
I do also recommend to try the Italian famous Spritz Aperol (Different in Trieste from other part of Italy!), it comes with sandwiches and olives to eat watching the sunset over the sea.

Me sorprendió que siendo la terraza emblemática en la plaza de la República de Trieste, con las mejores vistas, el capuccino costara 3 €. No es mala idea sentarse un rato, con wifi gratis sin clave y, eso sí, camareros que tardan bastante en atenderte.

Great location, great views. I can’t speak much for the food but this is a great place to enjoy a coffee or aperitivo while people-​watching and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of the piazza.

Erlesenes Kaffee-​Haus mit einer gigantischen Auswahl an Kaffee-​Spezialitäten. Bestens geeignet für’s touristische Dolce far niente in Triest. Als ich am frühen Nachmittag ein Club-​Sandwich ordern will, geht allerdings nix: Der Koch macht grad Mittagspause und die Küche bleibt kalt
Sonnenbrille auf, loungen, Leute glotzen, Kaffee schlürfen und sich fühlen wie Sissi und Franz. Was soll man/​frau auch sonst in dieser verschnarchten Adria-​Metropole sorgfältig konservierter k.u.k.-Herrlichkeit tun?

Das schönste Caffé am schönsten Platz, der Piazza Unitá in Triest;
im Sommer bekommt man zusätzlich auf dem schönen Platz ausreichend Sonne; seeehr empfehlenswert; bester Kaffee, elegant serviert auf schönen Tabletts, kleines Kekse hausgemacht, Kristallgläser mit Wasser, zu diversen Getränken bekomt man schälchenweise kleine Snacks dazu gereicht, Oliven gefüllt, Minipizzastückchen, Blätterteig mit Sardellen, eine reiche Auswahl an «Dolci»…sehr nettes Personal, hier ist das Motto: «sehen und gesehen werden»
