We went here on recommendation from Unilocal.The food was good but not great. We had the lasagne bolognese which were very creamy but with very little tomatoes and we weren’t sure they were fresh-​made as advertised. The home made pasta of the day, tagliani with meat ragu, was great though. Unfortunately the sweets selection was not to our tase so no desert here. Overall I can recommend this restaurant in San Gimignano but do order a daily special.

Chris was right about the lasagna, it’s first rate and still 8 euro. The sliced steak at 12 euro is also great. And the gelato was outstanding.
