Hmmm this was a place we came across, didn’t make reservations, and were just starving, it was OK nothing mind blowing. Bruschetta(4.5 stars) — This was actually really good, hard to mess up, if the tomatoes are good in italy then hard to miss! Meat Lasagna(3 stars) — This was ok, pretty good flavor, but I already has the best lasagna in Italy, so it was a let down after that. Seafood Pasta(2 stars) — Not very good, it was too fishy tasting for my cousin, it needs to be fresh! Our waiter was nice, we got a bottle of wine too! Just a casual type place.

Classical EU pizza. Crust a little fat. Nothing compare like a true italian pizza. Poor quality of the ingredients. Avoid it. Ask an additionnal 2e per person for the service if the bill is bellow 30e per person

Pizza on wood fire and for us it is the top. Cooking the dough ultra fast and especially ingredients added after so no chorizoor any dried tomatoes. Bresoala delicious and buffalo also. We took away and despite the world in the restaurant we were served in 5⁄10 min max. Friendly service and my son even could watch the cook doing our pizza. Delight for the mouth and the eyes for him. I do not put 5 because I prefer the thick pizza dought but I do not feel that this is the custom in Rome. A fine pizza dought lover would surely put 5 stars.

This place had high marks here on Unilocal but I think it’s rated to high. Three is more to the truth. The place was packed when we got there and we had to wait. That’s ok if you arrive between 8 – 10, because every family is out dining at that time. :-) We ordered pizza and that was okey, but nothing to write home about. I’ve had better back home in Sweden, but it was good enough for the price. The staff had much to do but they could have given us a smile at least once. The waiter we gotA was a bit on the grumpy side. And this was the first place in Rome we had encountered that had the service fee on the tab. I guess that is the only way for them to get a tip. The place itself felt a bit old and run down. I would recommed another place instead. «Tema» a few blocka away for example. :-)

Fantastic. From the pizza to the pasta… no complaints. The staff was helpful and accommodating as we were traveling with small kids.

The pizza at this place was amazing! So good, in fact, that I went there the very next day and ordered the same exact pizza! Yes, it was that good. My sister and I went here twice and both times, we were greeted with a kind hello and smile. The wait was no more than 10 minutes each day. We ordered the onion, mozzarella, and bacon pizza(well more like a flat bread – no tomato sauce and very thin crust). The flavor was out of this world! The smokiness of the bacon and the flakiness of the crust… Simply delicious! Service was superb and price was comfortable. I would come back again and again!

Restaurant a touristes.

Found this place thanks to a Bulgarian friend who knows Rome like the palm of her hand, if you want to find something she us your go to girl! Anyways the first time I tried their pizza it was to go and I was really surprised because the flavours were just a pizza revelation! So I had to go back, and so I did with another visiting friend and we were blown away by the delicious pizza. They make them there with very high quality products and bake them in wood fired brick ovens, the result. The best roman pizza I have had until now in this city! The staff is really nice and the place is cozy and very well located. The four stars are just because my hubby had the scallopine al limone and they weren’t that good. So just stick to pizza! Pro tip– all pizzas are delicious but the parmigiana is really tasty and the all time winner has to be the buffala margherita now that is an impressive Italian pizza!

Stumbled upon this place looking for another restaurant and glad we did. We had the caprese salad, salad primavera and rigatoni in a spicy, garlic tomato sauce(can’t remember the exact name). Everything was great, including the house red wine. I’m still searching for a better stracciatella gelato… it was excellent. Just good quality food at a reasonable price. This place is on the money! It’s also a great place for families.

We came here since it’s close by our vacation apartment & we were looking for some dinner on budget. We got there around 7:15pm and could get a table promptly. By 7:30pm the restaurant was almost all packed. Staff here were nice but service was VERY slow. We ordered 2 pasta dishes, and it took about 35−4min… There’s not free bread served, so we just played with our phone… Food tasted okay with the price(about 8 Euro). It surprised me that the shrimps of the frutti de Mari still had shells on. The pasta of the frutti de Mari was flavorable. The risotto tasted okay but looked very plain. Overall it’s worth a try. The ambience was nice and price was okay(2 pasta dishes + 1 still water + 1 coke = 24 Euro).

The Trattoria Il Tettarello is literally 40 steps from the front door of our vacation apartment. The trattoria’s décor is warm and inviting. Tables were occupied by a pretty even mix of both locals and tourists. yet it definitely did not feel like a tourist trap. Service was efficient but not hovering. Pricing was fair. Our meal consisted of a pizza, lasagne, house wine and a tiramisu. The pizza was good with a nice crispy crust. The lasagne was your basic bolognese but it was very good. The tiramisu was served in a cup. It tasted fresh and homemade. Their house wine is meh, we have had better, but it was not horrible. I don’t know if they have bread service, but I did see other tables with bread baskets. We did not get any. Total cost was 27 € including a cappuccino and bottled water.
