The house wine is the best I have ever had for the price. Granted, I’m no connoisseur but our party of four agreed. The pasta was quite good. You can tell everything is fresh. I tried a little of each pasta dish our party had and they were all good but keep in mind it’s not the United States so it’s not going to taste the same. Service, especially for Europe, is rather friendly. I finally felt like I was at a neighborhood Italian place. I felt like the veal was average, however, in comparison. Still quite good but not quite what the other dishes were. Points for: house wine, pasta, friendly service No points: veal

What a winner of a place for dinner! Went here on a Tuesday night and had the Linguine Sora Lucia or their version of Shrimp Scampi. Great dish with just the right amount of flavor — the shrimp was whole and had to be peeled and had less meat than I would have liked but I couldn’t complain too much about the rest of the meal. Also tried my friends’ Veal Scallapini which while simple looking was delicious. Full of flavor and not what I expected especially coming from someone who does not eat veal often. As others have already said, go for the house wine — it’s a steal of a deal. We had the House Red and it’s one of those experiences where upon first sip you know you’ve got something good on your hands. Service was good all throughout. Sadly, we tried to order their asparagus starter but they sold out. Would definitely return to try other dishes.

We had to wait 20+ minutes(even with a reservation) because the restaurant is very small. However, the owner was kind enough to provide complimentary wine while we waited outside. House wine was terrific(both red and white). Ravioli was the best dish in the restaurant. Tiramisu was delicious! Price was very reasonable!

This place was very good, the spicy penne was especially delicious. The people were very friendly. The atmosphere was nice. I also had the ossobucco which was very flavorful. Overall a pretty good restaurant.

A wonderful little typical Italian family Trattoria. We went back here for dinner again after last years visit at our weekend in Rome. I had cheese to start with and Pasta with seafood as second dish. Very tasteful and good. But the one to remember and return for is Dolce della Casa as dessert. I don’t know the recipe, but Mama Mia — so delicious!

We came to Sora Lucia during our last night in Rome for dinner and it did not disappoint. Thank goodness we had data on our phone to help navigate us to this street full of other restaurants and shops, because otherwise, we would have never found it. We knew that the restaurant fills up fast, so we decided to eat early to try and beat the crowds. 530PM must’ve been a perfect time, because the restaurant was empty. We were given a seat of our choice, handed menus and proceeded to peruse away. I of course ordered my half liter of wine and went with the seafood pasta(not the real name) that came loaded with mussels, clams, and squid over linguini noodles and cooked with a wine sauce. It was delicious, but with the seafood, was a little salty — so expect to drink a lot of water later on in the night. The meal was concluded with a large piece of delicious tiramisu that was easily shared between Jaime and I. The earlier time was a good choice because within an hour, the place was full of people and the phone was ringing like crazy. We probably just caught them as they were opening. Service was great, even when it became super busy and they offer complimentary wifi if you want to post, research or whatever you need to do before moving on to your next location.

This small mom and pop restaurant is tucked between a street full of fancier restaurants and souvenir vendors. Blink once and you may walk past it. Quite simply, Sora Lucia represents a cozy and inviting place to dine in simplicity. I had the polpette and my wife had the lamb which were both delicious! Portions are small but then again it should be. Must have their Panacotta for dessert. Make this your stop and you will not be disappointed!

A fish lover’s paradise! Modest surroundings create the feeling you are eating in the owner’s home. Don’t let the touristy street throw you off. Walk in, sit down, and check the chalkboard specials. Grilled salmon was excellent, swordfish cut too thin and overly dry. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you are receiving. Pasta specials excellent, gnocchi(on the blackboard) was available in four preparations, we tried two, both excellent.

This is a great little place in Rome close to the Trevi fountain. Despite the location there are always more locals than tourists. It is family run and pretty small so reservations are recommended for parties of more than two. The food and service are great. The wine list is nice though you can’t go wrong with a liter of house red wine for € 6! Try the cacio e pepe and veal saltimbocca.

Based on other reviews, and that our hotel was less than a block away, we walked by around 6:30 as they were opening and reserved an outdoor table for 4@ 8:00. We arrived at 8 and an outside table was waiting for us. We ordered the liter of house red wine… Still just 7 euros… And tasted just fine… Enjoyed pasta, veal, mixed green salad with very good service. We lingered and enjoyed the evening. As there were only a few outside tables, another party arrived while we we still lingering and they set up another table they brought out from in… No rushing us. We ordered all of the pastas and main dishes as the? owner? Suggested and all were to our liking. I wouldn’t say it was the best food I’ve ever had, however very good and prices much better than most restaurants in the Trevi fountain area. I’d go back again…

We were hungry after visiting Trevi Fountain so we gave this place a try. It was very good with friendly service. The pasta and gnocchi were both tasty and the house wine(£7 per liter) was better than expected. The older couple that took turns serving us was very nice. I assumed they were the owners, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

Our friends told us to come here for Liliana’s excellent food and we were happy we listened. It’s located close to the Trevi Fountain area. It’s a small cozy place, we arrived around 2pm for lunch and got one of the only 2 tables left with no problem. They close for lunch at 3pm, at least on Sundays. We enjoyed our meal so much we went back a couple hours later and had dinner there too. :-) We made sure to make a reservation during lunch for dinner which was smart because while we were eating dinner, we saw them turn away all the walk ins that night. So if you want to come for dinner, make a reservation beforehand. They are also closed on Mondays. Ok onto the food. The mixed salad was good and fresh. Combined in our 2 meals here, we had the cacio e pepe pasta which was cooked perfectly and so good. The principle seafood pasta dish was also pretty good with mussels and squid. The lasagne was piping hot and very good, makes me not look forward to the typical square shaped ones back home with crumbly ricotta in it. :-(The osso buco was served flat and I thought it was a piece of veal for a moment. It had a good rich flavor. The crème caramel was like a flan and tasted very good too. Each of our meals was just under 50 euros total which is a great price for the high quality of home cooked food you’re getting. The house red wine was the best tasting house red we’ve had during our whole trip, too. The mother and son combo do an excellent job here. Just either go for lunch or call ahead to book a dinner time.

Small and nice Restaurant close to the Trevi. The lovely ownerin do the service by herself and the foot is great, specially the pasta dishes. You find many Romans, what means that the Restaurant is cooking traditional. For lunch it is almost impossible to get a table. Try it and you will be happy.

While visiting Rome for a couple of days, we also dropped in at Sora Lucia. Actually, we came here two times since the first time was so incredibly pleasant! It’s a pretty small restaurant with only a few tables outsides and around 21h it can become quite crowded. All dishes we’d tried(Carbonara, salad aside, Tiramisu, fried potatoes and Saltimbocca) tasted very good and authentic. That’s what we thought about the whole restaurant! The staff was also really nice. Unfortunately the second visit wasn’t as nice as the frist as sometime so many people wanted to get in that we received the bill without having asked for it and that made us feel a bit unwanted just because we probably wouldn’t have spend a lot more money that evening. Still, go there!
