A very touristy spot, but don’t let the tourists fool you. This restaurant was one very cool place with very friendly and well spoken staff. The food was great and relatively cheap. Situated in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Rome it is certainly a very good option for dinner. We sat outside during the winter, but thanks to the heating lamps it was still enjoyable. My favorite was the lasagna. We liked it enough to go there twice during our 5 day stay in Rome! Definitely recommended!

Quel accueil !

Came here 2 nights in a row when visiting Rome. Loved the location and ambience in the heart of Trastevere with outdoor seating and heated lamps! The service was slow but yet very courteous. Tried their pizza, pasta, wine and tiramisu. Pasta was okay, other stuff was great. They always have fun freebies to offer. On night #1, free yummy cookies. Night #2 was free samples of hot wine. They were nice to offer cookies again when we asked for them on our second visit. And a parting shot of liqueur was also free! Wine portions were twice that of what I’m used to in the USA. Easy on the pocket as well. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful place in beautiful Trastevere, great Pizza & Pasta and a great Nero D’Avola. Service was fantastic — this absolutely is the place to be in Trastevere!

In search of a nice restaurant, we followed the many positive advice on Unilocal but were quite disappointed. Sure the restaurant is nice, we loved the decoration and the atmosphere, the waiter are very obliging, but the quality of products didn’t match our expectations. The mozzarella for instance was quite insignificant. The pasta were good though but we had better in other restaurants during our stay. The place gets very crowded(and noisy), you better make a reservation if you want a table.

Loved the first meal enough that we went back a week later. The food is good, the service is very good and the staff really go out of their way to have fun and create a great ambience. At one moment the restaurant will be very busy and the staff is very focussed. You can sense the energy. 15 minutes later there will be a lull in the action and one-two or all of the staff will start singing. It’s great. Lots of fun and smiles all around. Like the neighbourhood of Trastevere, the restaurant itself can be a hip, fun place and a nice contrast to Rome proper.

Don’t think you’ll eat delicious food just because you’re in Italy. It really depends on where you are. Rome is unique and beautiful but when you eat in Napoli you can never feel the same about the food in Rome. That’s why I’m not gonna blame Grazie & Graziella I ordered pasta, wine and pizza. Wine was good, pasta was okay but I definitely couldn’t finish or eat pasta. But their staff is nice, funny, good looking and full of energy. I forgot to tip them and I feel horrible for it. It’s also on a good spot in Trastevere. Might be good for just bruschetta and wine with friends.

Obsessed with this place! So much that during my two nights in Rome, I had dinner here twice. First, I was treated with the best care/service. Although I’m sure being a single girl traveling solo also didn’t hurt. :-) The ambiance was intimate, yet fun and kind of lively. And the staff all seemed really happy to work here and serve others which made the world of a difference. My first night I ordered the fried artichoke as an appetizer and the cheese and pepper pasta. Soooo freaking good! Funny thing is, I didn’t even know I liked artichoke before this dish haha. And the pasta seemed so basic, but my server assured me that it would be flavorful and that I would love it — she was right! My second night I considered going somewhere else, but figured why not go back here if I loved it? Again, I was greeted super awesome servers and they also purposely sat me next to a really cute Italian boy who I chatted with all night(major points for that!). This time I ordered the fries with cheese and pepper and the carbonara pasta. I literally couldn’t handle how good it was! Happy I have a favorite restaurant in Rome now. Can’t wait to return!

Avoid. One of the worst meals I’ve had in Rome in more than four decades of traveling there. Terrible service. Waited thirty minutes for an outdoor table after being told it would be ten minutes maximum. Then was ushered to an indoor table with then promise that we would be transferred to an outdoor one as soon as one opened up — never happened of course, despite my checking in with the staff at least three times over the course of 90 minutes. The food came out overcooked and had no flavor. The carbonara and cacio e pepe were both overcooked. How can you call yourself a roman restaurant? Asked five times for the check but it never came. Had to flag down bartender to pay at the register. Waitress uttered racial slur in Italian as I left restaurant. Never again, thank you.

Great place for an Italian lunch they have a great menu to choose from food is good but wine and limoncello made my day I would say that any restaurant is good in trastevere just take a seat wherever you feel comfortable since there is a lot to choose from.

What a great restaurant. We had the most amazing Lasagna — a real wow. At first I wondered why this place got so many great reviews as the tables seemed a bit dingy and the menu limited. But 10 minutes later I got it — the staff are amazing and the atmosphere is everything you are looking for in the Travertine neighborhood. Their specialty beef dish was the only disappointment but that’s really more to do with not being nuts about the style. We also have gotten used to letting them know we prefer our pasta well done as they like it al dente and it really makes a difference.

We were looking fun for a place to eat in the Trastevere neighborhood. This restaurant looked packed(always a good sign) and their outside patio area looked fun and inviting. We were looking at the menu and one of the waiters came up and gave us some wine, that obviously sold me. To start we tried one of the traditional dishes of the area, fried artichokes. It was good and well prepared, but not sure if I would order it again. For entrees we had the bruschetta and carbonara. Both were pretty good! If you are very hungry be sure to order a couple of things. I give this place a 4 because of them ambiance and friendly staff!

Standard mid-level stuff served up at this place that ensnares all kinds of tourists walking by largely on the charisma of the host, an affable Italian guy who I’m willing to bet has no use for tinder when he can just pick off any one of the nights many smiling visitors. But yeah, if you are looking for an upper level meal, it’s not here. If ok food and good atmosphere suffice then this place will do.

My boyfriend and I stopped at this place while we were walking around the Trastevere neighborhood looking for a place to eat. This place caught our eye because there was a bit of a lineup and there was an awesome, friendly, funny host standing out front with a water gun and serving prosecco to those waiting for a table. We figured it must be good if there was a lineup! Our predictions were absolutely correct! We were so impressed by the food at this restaurant! We sat on the patio. The tables were quite close to each other, but that didn’t bother us. The atmosphere was nice. The servers were also very friendly. I ordered the Bufalina pizza and my boyfriend ordered the Napoli pizza. The Bufalina pizza was the best pizza I have ever had! The flavours were incredible! My boyfriend really enjoyed his Napoli pizza as well — I’m not big on sardines, but I have to admit, it was good! Highly recommend this spot :)

The food was GREAT but the service getting to our table initially and the weak AC was a turnoff. Al of our pastas were cooked perfectly, and brought to us within 15 mins of ordering. The rosemary focaccia bread was delicious as well.

It offers variety of italian food. We ordered mozzarella and ham. Pizza diabolo and beaf steak. All was nice. Price is affordable for the tourist destination restaurant. It has inside and outside seatings. Ya! Sara is a good waiter

Plenty of locals here, which is always a good sign in a somewhat«touristy» part of any city. From the outside it actually looks a bit like a tourist trap with models of the food on a table and decorations that might be Christmas lights, even though it is February. Unless the weather is really great, I would recommend getting a table inside. The restaurant has a nice familiar atmosphere and is decorated in a funky way, combining an old Fiat refrigerator and bright yellow paint. We ordered a salad and a pizza, both of which were nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Two dishes, a decent glass of Chianti, a Coke and espresso/tea afterwards was EUR34 which I think is reasonable. All in all, this is a nice place that I would recommend for a late lunch after exploring Trastevere.

First meal in Roma and it happened to be 1st January and all of Rome was quite after a night of partying for NYE(that’s what we assumed). It was after a long walk and desperate search for dinner, we arrived in Trastevere and found operating restaurants. As we approached this restaurant, a really hyper guy started shouting AYYYYYHAPPYHAPPYHAPPYNEWYEAR! We got caught in his excitement and started chanting along AYYYYHAPPYYYYNEWYEAR. He handed us the menu along with a celebratory shot of Proseco and told us to wait a couple of minutes. Since I don’t drink, my friend was more than happy to take the extra shot from me. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we got a table inside the crowded restaurant. That seemed like a good sign. I ordered a signature dish I have been reading about when I was researching about Italian food; cacio de pepe(simple dish of pasta with pepper and cheese). Being a basic American and used to a million ingredients in my pasta, I was excited to try what such a simple yet hugely popular dish would be like. I wouldn’t say I was blown away. The texture of the pasta was great but not the dish as a whole itself. My friend settled for an eggplant pizza which she seemed to enjoy and a glass of wine which she raved about. I tried her pizza and it tasted like any other NY style pizza. Despite the good ratings, I think this restaurant caters to American/touristy taste. Also, before our food arrived I kept looking at the table next to ours and wondered what concoction they were eating. It seemed really yummy. I asked them what it was and they said it was pepper, potatoes with cheese. Apparently, it was one of the popular dishes. We really liked that appetizer and I would really recommend it along with the cheap but good quality wine(When in Italy, you will find abundance of wine and this wine was one of the best glasses my friend had while in Rome). Overall, a pleasant first meal in Roma.

Best that I have had in rome so far. Great area. So fun and hip. Lots of places to choose from. This has outdoor seating. The workers were fast and friendly. The food was solid! That being said I think it’s hard to find great food in rome. I know… That sounds crazy right? But I am from New York and I haven’t had a meal here yet that measures up to Italian food in New York. This was tasty and fresh:)

We loved Grazia & Graziella. Trastevere is a difficult place to find a good restaurant because yes, there a lot of options but not all have good reviews. The place was very nice, during the night with some heat. The waitress spoke english and was very fast with everything. We asked for pasta and didnt dissapoint us. The chairs are really next to each other and that can be intimidating but for us it was great because we got to know a couple from Peru! :) There´s a lot of space inside that you dont get to see while outside.
