This was by far my best dining experience in Rome PERIOD. Everything was beyond memorable. 1. The bread was fresh and hot and was delightful with the special olive oil/basalmic mix. 2. The wine selection gives your opportunity to try out the regions across Italy. We had an amazing red one from Calabria 3. The pasta dishes(I had Ravoli) were absolutely fresh, very well made, and I could taste the wonders of Olive oil, truffle, and heirloom potatoes in one. 4. Facing an open piazza creates so many great outdoor seating options. 5. The inside was clean, modern, but still very characteristically Italian 6. Simply stunning service. Lots of attention! I will warn you that this is ironically near some American study abroad hot spots, so the population is extra touristy(though nothing like the city center).

The concept of this restaurant was awesome: they hire mentally handicapped individuals to work alongside professionals in the restaurant. «They can work in a professional manner with motivation and productivity and offer their contribution to building a society worthy of man. Our proposal is to work together to create jobs and promote a new culture of disability,»(this was taken from the restaurant’s website). I wasn’t too hungry, and ordered the cacio e pepe balls appetizer, which were good. My friends enjoyed their pasta entrees as well, and our outdoor table offered a great view of the bustling nightlife in Trastevere. Good service – friendly, accommodating, attentive. Great wine list as well, and the vino della casa was actually pretty good.

Very nice place in a cute setting. The plazza is cute, but this is about food, so, food was de li cious!!! The fried anchovies were yummy, and the beef I ordered was so tender, I could pull it appart. I highly recommend this place, although waiting for a table can took about 15 minutes and the meal took a while to cook. It is a slow cooking place, not slow service, dont get it confused.

Great place to take friends and family who are staying in the Trastevere area. Not only is the atmosphere great, but the restaurant supports a great cause. Sono vegano and so they had plenty of options for me in their menu. I will definitely be returning.
