Delicious morning pastries! I thought Tartine in SF was my favorite pastry spot but that title was easily usurped by this place. Came here at 6am for cappuccinos but the pastries looked too good to pass up. We purchased 3 cappuccinos and 3 pastries for only 7.5 euros. The little crunchy Nutella-filled ones were my favorite(only 1 euro each) but everything was warm, flaky, and delicious. They need to release a cookbook, I would be first in line.

We loved Er Caffettiere! We stayed nearby so we went every morning for cappuccinos and pastries before starting our day. The service is excellent, there are more locals than tourists(which is rare in Rome) and the food is good. They also sold really cute artwork that features this bird. My husband and I bought 2 of them and my sister and bro-in-law bought another 2.
