Really enjoyed this restaurant when I went with my friend and her family. The food was incredible and the wine was delicious. I am a student here, and have been looking for a restaurant that doesn’t treat me like a tourist. There are so many restaurants here in Rome that try to scam you and treat you like a tourist(unfortunately) but this restaurant gave us a lot of respect and even chatted with us after. The food was delivered fast and the wine was a generous amount. The food was picture perfect, and tasted even better! I strongly recommend this place if you want a nice meal with a glass of vino! The manager(I believe he was, at least) was extremely nice and professional. I even heard they may start having live music here(not sure when, or what days) but that would be amazing! This place is worth it.(Try the pumpkin gnocchi yum!!!)

Had our last meal in Italy here and it was average compared to all the places we’ve eaten over the 2 weeks. Food and drinks was a little over priced for what they serve as it wasn’t anything special. Service was efficient, maybe a little too efficient because as soon as you finished the plates were taken away from you even when the other people at your table hadn’t finished eating. If I had a chance to do it all again I probably wouldn’t have eaten here as there are so many other places to chose all close by.

So on my way either to or from my favorite shopping spot Carlo Cecchini and stopped into this place. Three hours later I had some of the best food, dessert and Spritzes… EVER. Super good people watching spot… the staff is great… just the right amount of attention… it was PERFETTO! I like this place a lot! Feels touristy… but who cares!!!

We came back multiple times to this place because the food was always delicious! Loved the bruschetta appetizer, pesto pasta and lasagna!

Definitely a tourist restaurant in a touristy part of the city, but that’s why we come to Rome in the first place isn’t it? We were a group of 5 and wanted to eat outside. No gimmicks here. The menu is out front, the staff is courteous, spoke very good English and took the time to explain the specials as if we were their first customers of the night. Rickety tables, but that tends to be the norm in the area, and you could just consider that it adds to the atmosphere. We all ordered pizza and we were all happy with them. We ordered the house red, but they only had bottled wine so be prepared for that expense. Overall good experience.

Just had as glass of wine here. The wine was good but overpriced and I ordered a wine that they had listed by the glass and was told it was not supposed to be by the glass. The service was lousy so we chose not to eat. After staying in Trastevere for 5 nights there are better places to relax with a beverage.

Great place. Family run wine bar, awesome atmosphere. Good selection of wine by glass or bottle, staff was very knowledgeable regarding them. Try their Montepulciano, you will not be disappointed. I wish I could have it by IV. Decent light food, liked the buffet a lot. Outside seating with candlelight was relaxing, beautiful, and made the visit perfect. Service was wonderful, the short guy(owner?) Marcelo was an awesome host and extremely friendly. Prices are average, but on point for what you get. Be aware of the way things work in Rome, you pay for the bread and it comes automatically, etc… that’s how it is everywhere. Go…you’ll be glad you did. I was.

It’s not that anything was bad; the outdoor seating was open but calm, the service was reliable and attentive, and the food was alright; but nothing was great, and it was all overpriced. You felt like you’d wandered in to a hotel restaurant, benefiting from travelers who were to weary to venture further.

Food was good, though service was kinda weird. They charge you for bread without asking if you want it. Forgot our request to have a pasta without cheese and had to remake it.

Any place that has Barolo by the glass, I’m a fan of… Great selection of wine by the bottle too.

Excellent food and service! I had tried pasta at many other restaurants in Rome but this one had the freshest and tastiest. The food really stands out from the rest and the price is reasonable.
