Place had a really weird vibe to it — it was nearly empty in the restaurant so all the waiters were standing in the middle of the room awkwardly watching us order and then eat. The pizza sampler wasn’t great. The bread was bland and toppings consisted of a single vegetable. The spaghetti with tuna and lemon didn’t have any spices, and it all seemed canned. Disappointing.

I came here looking for a new experience and good food based on the recommendation of a locaI, but I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant in my life. Notwithstanding the screaming children, passive aggressive/rude service and unspectacular food, the experience was forgettable, if not regrettable. We ordered the funghi and yotvata salads, which don’t come with dressing or olive oil/vinegar at the table, and were terrible. Next, the eggplant parmigiana was okay. Finally, the baked sea bass with vegetables(and bones) was terrible. The house wine also was below average. Although I use Unilocal often when traveling and find it to be a great resource, I’ve never written a review before. But this place got my ire up to the point where I couldn’t let it go. I’m going to block the experience from memory as the rest of Rome has been incredible.
