Stopped in for lunch after visiting the Colosseum, Forums and Capitoline Museum based on the reviews. The food was very good, we split an Israeli salad which was large enough to share. I then had the artichokes and bottarga which had a healthy amount of shaved bottarga making it a very umami-rich meal. My wife got the couscous and brisket which was very similar in taste and texture to short ribs. We both thought it was very good. I subtracted a star since the service was terrible. Despite ordering Acqua Minerale Frizzante and bread in Italian we ended up with flat water and no bread.

Our favorite meal in Italy. Seriously. All because of the braised lamb and artichoke dish. The only reason why it has four stars is because the dish I got(beef strips with arugula) was a little salty and it was just okay. But that LAMBDISH. We also got the Jewish style artichokes, which were incredible! Service was great, the restaurant itself was very clean and modern. Wish we could go back!

This place is not only the nicest looking restaurant in the Jewish quarters, but was absolutely delicious! We had the Carbonara and the«meat pasta». Both were very good. When we walked in it was empty, probably because it is newer, but I am sure glad we stayed.

We enjoyed our meal here. The restaurant was packed with local families, so service was a bit on the slow side, but still friendly. And yes, I agree with the Italian reviewer who said that the prices are somewhat high; however, they are consistent with the prices in this busy neighborhood. Moreover, the food was good. Coming here is worth it to try the famous artichokes, though I thought their other food was actually better.
