This is a really nice place with a truly good and plenty apéritif all day starting at seven, each night there’s something, karaōke, music, on Tuesday there’s the Latin Night and it’s so cool!

gemütliche bar, zentral gelegen mit blick auf arno und piazza und dennoch nicht touristisch. cocktail– und bierauswahl ist groß, die preise moderat. aperitivobüffet ist wirklich lecker und reichhaltig. abends gibt es meist live-​musik. man spricht englisch und der flirtfaktor (mit dem barkeeper) ist auch hoch. ;)

When me and friend visited Pisa in February we came to Bazeel every night. This came down to two things: great location with seats outside in the piazza garibaldi, and also the prosecco which was 15 euros a bottle. We started every evening with a bottle!

Die Bar befindet sich direkt im historischen Zentrum von Pisa, am Fluß Arno und der Haupteinkaufsstrasse Borgo Stretto. Sie ist sehr beliebt bei den Pisanern und bietet eines der besten Aperitivo-​Buffets in Pisa an.
Täglich ab ca. 19 Uhr gibt es hier leckere Häppchen, wie kleine Pizzen, CousCous, Pasta und mehr, zum Getränk kostenlos, wie es in Italien Standard ist, dazu.
Auch die Getränke hier sind sehr preiswert (Prosecco 3 Euro, Negroni 5 Euro) und lecker.
Die Pizzen sind sehr groß (reichen für zwei Personen) und lecker.
Im Sommer kann man sehr gut draussen sitzen oder stehen und im Winter gibt es einen DJ.

Bazeel is a great bar/​restaurant right on the banks of the river Arno, on the Piazza Garibaldi.
Their aperitivo, served from around 7pm, is a must. A huge buffet of various crostini, pasta, salads and risotto (among other things — it changes daily) is on offer.
Make sure you arrive before 7pm to secure a table, as it gets very busy.
It gets even busier on weekends, when hundreds of people mingle around the banks of the river. It’s quite a sight.
Prices are very reasonable, and in the case of pizzas, outrageously cheap.
A standard Margarita pizza is EUR5 and mind-​blowingly enormous (and delicious!).
The famous and fantastically strong Italian aperitivo drink, Negroni, is EUR5.
They also have live music and DJs on weekends.
If you sit outside, it’s a hugely atmospheric place. On one side, you have the start of the historic center and the ancient shopping street, Borgo Stretto. On the other, you have the banks of the Arno and the view across the Ponte Mezzo (main bridge).
It’s a simply lovely location.
Highly recommended.
