This place is underrated, and rightly so since it fits very few people. Florentine people come here for lunch. It’s a hole-in-the-wall joint but the food that comes out of here is pure Tuscan comfort. The menu changes everyday with two daily specials. Lampredotto is delicious and only 3 euro, also oven-baked porchetta is only served in panino on Wednesdays.

Great place for lunch that the locals go to, and I thank my Italian teacher for telling me about it when I studied in Florence in 2011. I love their lampredotto panino, a Florentine specialty consisting of cow’s stomach, despite my usual distaste for offal. Service is only in Italian, so if you’re feeling gutsy, head up to the counter and order a panino from this great little find. Buon appetito!
