This place is enormously famous in Florence thanks to its owner that fancies creatives ways of making shots. He created a ritual around his fruity shots: first he prepares them with care and the right amount of time then he explains how it must be savored and in the end he accompanies you saying: vai vai vai, that means go go go! He shouts and people laugh and the crowd grows! Also its choices are always served with fruit and coffee powder, his favorite thing! Prices are still fair and you can also grab a mexican bite late in the night.

While I can’t speak for the food, the experience was unforgettable! My Italian teacher said we HAD to stop in Eby’s before our time in Florence was over. He told us the shots were really unique and eccentric and he wasn’t lying! This is not your traditional«knock it back» shot. Each shot I tried was complex had quite a few steps.(Eat banana, take shot, one side of an orange in sugar and the other in espresso). The bartender looked a lot like Albert Einstein and had great energy as he slammed his fists on the counter and yelled«Go! Go! Go!» We asked him to make his favorite shot and it took a good 5+ minutes to make. I’m allergic to coconut but he was more than willing to substitute the coconut vodka for something else. One of my favorite nights in the city!

We had a very enjoyable meal here. This was a great dinner option if you are sick and tired of pizza and pasta. We ordered margaritas, nachos and a couple of burritos. Although there are differences between authentic Mexican food and the menu here, the food was certainly tasty and satisfying. It’s just a fun place for a quick lunch or dinner.

How fun to find a Mexican restaurant in Florence, Italy — and find to be absolutely delicious! They have a very extensive bar in here, and the food was great. There were vegetarian options we enjoyed. It is very close to the Duomo.

After 10 days in Italy my american palate wanted something other than Italian food. My wife found this place near where we were and I was sold. We ordered nachos, chili con carne burrito and pollo burrito, plus non alcoholic drinks, and it came to 17 euro, great value! The employee asked if we wanted the burritos spicy which I love because that tells me they don’t just churn out the same old thing, its a craft. The nachos were delicious and the salsa was spicy while the guacamole was cool and tasty. Very good appetizer. The burritos arrived and we started in. They were fantastic and tasty. My burrito was indeed spicy and I tried my wife’s which also had great flavor. Super delicious and well worth the money. Please don’t think you are getting a chipotle burrito here because this was a hand crafted masterpiece in a city renowned for art, which means its better. I highly recommend this spot if you want something as little different in Italy.

I come here at least a few times a month and it’s in my top ten list of places suitable for a fast, cheap and good lunch. Their burritos are extremely delicious(especially the chilli con carne one, spicy, with extra rice) and the location is great; they have a few tables outside right under the«arco di San pierino», sitting there is surprisingly relaxing, you don’t even notice all the people and cars passing by. I’ve actually never spent much time inside as I find the décor a bit outdated and sad, and another reason why I can’t give five stars is that I tried their desserts a few times and, especially one filled with Nutella was pretty mediocre. Overall though still a great low-key lunch spot, great value for the price, best«latino» food in town. The girls working there are pretty friendly and usually give you a free shot(fruit and a little alcohol) when you’re paying the bill. Check it out!

EBY’S! Oh, how I long for thee. I’m a burrito enthusiast, and although I knew my summer in Firenze, Toscana would be filled with an endless array of delicious cuisine, I was curious to discover if there was anything resembling a burrito in town. Then I came upon Eby’s Latin Bar. Their vegetarian«burrito» is unique and exquisite: In a delicious wrap filled with chickpeas, greek yogurt, and veggies. I truly cannot justify the grandeur in writing, but their burritos have been unforgettable to me. They also have extraordinary, elaborate drinks, of which the Hemingway [mojito] and strawberry cocktails were my favorite. To make things better, everything was pretty inexpensive. I dined here on a couple of occasions with classmates, and some days I would walk alone by the Duomo and past many shop fronts to come here and sit in a dark crevice of the bar, looking out the small window at the bustle of Italian life while writing in my class journal. I feel like I was here a million times during my time in Italy, when in reality, it was just a handful. Yet, Eby’s left a lasting memory in my heart. One day, when I am in my beloved Florence again, I will greet this place like an old friend.

I can’t believe I wanted so long to try Eby’s Bar. The food is really good. I love the Empanadas here! They offer free WiFi and there is lots of room to sit and work with your laptop or just chat with friends. I tired their enchilladas and burritos and everything was very good. Can’t wait to come back one night to try one of their specialty fruit drinks, or smoothies, or desserts or… or… or …

The best Latin food in Florence! I had a spicy chicken and vegetable burrito and it was fresh and delicious. Prices are perfect, too! The sangria is a must have. Get the larger size for only a euro more, you’ll end up wanting more if you get the small glass. The empanadas are so good! They have all kinds to choose from and they’re only € 1.50 each. The ladies working there when I visited were very nice!
