Half Priced Margaritas during Happy Hour! The service is a bit slow but friendly. It is a great place to go enjoy some chips and guac with a group of friends! The food is good, not the best Mexican food I’ve had, but I will definitely come back!

While all the Italian cuisine I’ve had since being here has been great, you get to a point in your study abroad experience where thinking of eating another plate of pasta or pizza makes you want to cry. This place was just what we needed. The margaritas were so so good(just don’t get the strawberry) and my dinner made me so incredibly happy. Having spices on your food and actual meat with your dinner is amazing after getting pasta for weeks. I got the spicy quesadillas for only 7 €. I would have bought 2 more plates if I could have(portions were a little small). Overall so good and so happy we went

I’m a big fan of Mexican food, so I went to both locations when I was studying in Florence and I must say I was impressed. Margaritas were outstanding and the food was good as well. They have a couple of options when it comes to food and it’s reasonably priced.

The margaritas are delicious, the food amazing! The atmosphere and service was great. We are from tijuana Mexico and we can honestly say that the food is as good as over there. If you feel brave enough try the habanera hot sauce!

Amazing food, great service, good margaritas and micheladas! The food was so good that I didn’t have time to take a picture! We had chili con carne, desmadre de enchiladas(great choice with variety) and taco al pastor all were delicious! Highly recommend!

My father(and probably the local Florentines as well) disapprovingly looked at me when I told him I was burned out on Italian food near the end of our two week stay. As I like to say, you can take the boy out of San Diego but you can’t take the San Diego out of the boy. I needed a change of cuisine and tacos were calling my name. Thankfully, after a little persuasion and finding the promising Tijuana, my parents and I headed to this Mexican establishment for lunch. The al pastor tacos with pineapple were quite tasty and the perfect change of pace from pasta, pasta, pasta. If you also want some new flavors in your life when in Florence, then Tijuana is just the place for you.

Last year I would have given this place 3 stars because of the weak margaritas. This year I had loaded nachos, chicken fajitas and a corona and was much happier. Plus, I miss Mexican food more than ever. The small nachos are a good size for 2 to share as an app without going overboard. You can load it up with chorizo, guacamole, sour cream, and all the toppings you want, the price doesn’t change. I’d recommend this place for a beer or a pitcher of sangria and a bunch of food to share. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. I would definitely return.

I found this place from a recommendation from a friend who studied abroad here the year before I did. Although we were only in Italy for a month, a couple of my roommates and I were craving Mexican food, and this place did the trick to tie it over. The nachos are pretty close to the real thing, but I can’t complain because we were in Italy after all. They also have an awesome happy hour for their frozen margaritas, which was great because since we were studying in the summer, we always craved something cool to quench our thirst and regulate our temperature. When we were there I believe the happy hour price for frozen margaritas was 4 Euros, not quite sure how it is now. i would say go for the frozen margaritas if you need a break from gelato or try the nachos if you have a hankering for Mexican food.

This place was just ok. After being in Florence for a month my friends and I wanted to try something new and thought Mexican food would be our best bet. My friends got margaritas and said that they were good but didn’t have much alcohol in them. The nachos were definitely the highlight of our visit. They were a good size and great for sharing. Our meals again we’re just ok, nothing special. I’m used to authentic Mexican food and this did not come even close. Good Mexican atmosphere though, gotta give that!

We would always go here for margaritas when I was living in Florence. This is the only place that had even semi-authentic nachos. Soooo good.

WARNING: WORSTMEXICANFOOD I HAVEEVERHAD and horrible service. I went in here with friends thinking it looked like a cool place. The guacamole was a rip off and was green paste. Chips cold and stale. Service sucked the waitress forgot about us and super un friendly – the staff was rude in general and we had the green paste just sitting thr for 20 min bc the staff wouldnt look at us as we tried askign for chips. they brought us margaritas that wr pretty but tasted like artificial gross ice. One of my friends had a taco and she wasn’t to excited about it bc the chesse she said was wet and gross. If you want to be ripped off and get the worst food of your life you have come to the right place:) I had great mexican food in paris thinking florentines may know a few things about how to make mexican food… sadly they don’t:(

After two weeks on vacation in Europe, a craving for nachos set in big time while I was in Firenze. Where to go when you’re an American pining for some crunchy, savory and oh so spicy nachos? Apparently here is where. Firstly, there are like 10 conflicting sources on this ristorante’s hours… Their website says they open at 6, their placemats say 1, but in real life they weren’t open by 6:30 but were definitely open before 7. Of course there are no hours posted on their door. No worries, by waiting until 7 at least we made sure we were within happy hour territory. Speaking of happy hour, the frozen margaritas were definitely così così. My sisters lime tasted strange, and my strawberry was good but with hints of bizarre. Maybe tequila just doesn’t export well to Italy? Non lo so. And the nachos… While in the US I’d say they were atrocious, here in Italy they hit the spot, until I got to the bottom strata. I don’t know what concoction was between the bottom of the plate and the bottom layer of nachos, but once it touched my tongue I vowed never to repeat that gastronomic experience ever again. But oh well, they satisfied my nacho craving and I can safely make it another week until I return to the US and get some real ones in my system. In the immortal words of mia sorella: «best worst idea ever.»

Ok, for Mexican food in Florence, it’s not so bad. I actually really like the margaritas on a hot day in Firenze. We’ve tried the nachos and a fajita type dish that was really huge and was happy with both meals. They also have burgers. Happy hour is everyday 18:00 — 20:00 with drink discounts. Also, they offer a coffee break special… wifi & refill for € 3.50& with a donut for € 5 Free wifi! Now open for lunch. Hours are 13:00−2400. Enjoy
