This place is amazing. During my 2 week stay in Florence, my friend and I had visited this store not once, not twice, but five times! So much that the mother or the sisters that run the store recognized us! The two sisters that run the store are really knowledgeable about the tea products that they sell. They have a few shelves of packaged tea products and chocolate bars. A majority of the store are huge jars of loose tea that you could buy at 50 and 100 grams. Also don’t miss the display case of bonbons that they sell by weight. I absolutely recommend the cognac, pistachio and the blond chocolate bonbons! They sell a range of roobias, green, black, red and white tea. There is a book held by a clip that has the complete description and properties of the teas. Also don’t hesitate to ask questions! They are very nice and helpful! I’d recommend their special Florence with Love blend the sisters made themselves. Also the Purity blend! Be aware that they also sell teas from Paris in there store so if you want something distinctively Italian, be sure to ask. They have an amazing cioccolata calda(hot chocolate) for take away for 2.5 €. Amazing! Don’t confuse it with the water downed or more milk based hot chocolate you get in the states! The cioccolata calda is thick and dense. Not overwhelmingly sweet, more on the dark side, and very delicious. They also offer tea for takeaway. Definitely recommend if you are around the palazzo Pitti!

I admit that I was lazy… the weather was way too hot for me to walk another 2 km to Piazza Ghiberti Lorenzo to visit La Via del Tè. I’m so glad that I found Oronero which carries their tea. The best of all, Oronero sells both La Via del Tè and Dammann. I told the store owner that I like Dammann’s Jardin Bleu and she pulled out 3 different La Via del Tè from the shelf. I ended up getting 2 of her selections. Too bad that they don’t serve tea in the store. But I absolutely love my purchase. Due to the summer heat at that time, I wasn’t in the mood to get any chocolate but they have a lot of tea related items such as honey, candies and biscotti from the Tuscany region.

This place has amazing chocolate and tea. Accompanied by Lucy the super chocolate and tea expert makes for a great experience. We are setting up some importing of her goods. They are top notch.
