Recommended by locals, had a great dinner at Baccarrossa while on vacation for few days in Florence. It’s local’s favorite restaurant. Opted for the chief’s 5 course meal option, and it was amazing. Great food, friendly stuff, and excellent wine list. Highly recommend it.

This is the second time I eat in this restaurant and now I can say for sure it is one of the best places in Florence where to eat seafood dishes.
Both the times I went with a coupon but everything was delicious, perfectly presented and the cook also came in the room to check on each table to get likes and suggestions.
The place itself is nicely decorated and service is impeccable.
My boyfriend tried the meat menu, based on truffle, and it was equally tasty!
I would personally go for the tuna steak, simple but incredibly fresh and scrumptious!
It’s quite expensive but very classy and it has this romantic-​casual touch, every couple should try it!

The only bad note to an amazing experience in Florence.
Three people having three different main courses with one thing in common:
Very bland and mediocre food. We thought the dessert was going to be better but it was equally disappointing.
I have to say that the service was great, with two exceptionally friendly waiters.
