So expensive, so rude and bad stylists. 30 € for a bad and quickly haircut. Last time I go to this place.

Not the place to go if you have longer hair. Came out with a lopsided haircut and went straight home to cut it again myself in the mirror. At least it was only 25, relatively cheap compared to other places I’ve tried

I’ve had two excellent cuts and one awesome hot shave from SAMs. On my first visit, they were nice enough to take me without an appointment after having only waited five minutes. I was offered coffee water or a beer which I found to be a nice touch. The hot shave and hair cut took about 90 mins and I felt like a new man afterwards. I though the € 60 was a bargain considering how much time the staff spent with me, and how great I felt afterward. Today I only got a haircut, but I left very satisfied and relaxed. Glad I finally found a good barber shop in my new hometown.

First haircut in Dublin and I wasn’t disappointed. Colin gave me a perfect haircut and made some very good suggestions. Next time will be definitely at the same place.

I walked by this place a few times before actually deciding to book, the rockabilly look with 25 different Pomades and other such products made me a bit uneasy, and I was expecting it to be pricey.
One day I was looking just a bit too ghastly, and a trim was in order, so I decided to make a booking for Sam’s.
I waited no more than a couple of minutes, got offered a beer, and had an extremely attentive and professional service. My hair was cut (ok… I don’t have a lot of hair… but still…), and my beard was trimmed perfectly and left shiny and pleasantly smelling by the weird concoctions these guys use.
A beard trim and a clipper haircut set me back 15 €, a very nice deal for the overall experience.
I’ve returned since then, and I’m convinced I didn’t just have a lucky first experience. The guys and gals at this place know what they’re doing.

Excellent for the ‘rockabilly’ look without going full on ‘Waldorf Barbers’. Price is affordable and the staff in my experience always go the extra mile. There is also a great selection of beard and hair products available and I always find myself leaving with a few.

Dropped in here for a much needed cleanup at the end of my vacation. Even though I came in as they were getting near closing, the staff were courteous and pleasant. They had me in and out the door quickly with a great new cut! As some of the other reviewers said, the establishment is trendy and well located.

Got a great cut here today being my first time in this shop I would definitely recommend and will me making it my new barbers

Knocking off a star for an average first cut and being offered a shave without being told it cost more than a haircut

Being a person who shaves his own head, This will probably my only review for a hair salon, I expect. I was recently invited for a complimentary hot towel shave in Sam’s. I have to say, it was very enjoyable. Stephen spent the guts of ¾ hour gently shaving my face and then passed me on to a lovely Japanese/​Canadian girl named Katie for an indian head massage.
¹⁰⁄₁₀ for service, friendliness and banter. Thanks to Stephen, James, Erin, Katie and Sam. Very nice people.

Sams is a brilliant hairdressers for men. It costs 25euro for a cut, yes alot more than a typical barbers where you could pay 5 euros but the quality of the cut and how good you’ll look afterwards is more than worth the money. Sams is the one place I always come out not regretting having visited unlike other barber I have been. The staff are very professional and know what they’re doing if you want colour or highlights, and offer services like chemical straightening. Perks of visiting Sams is when you get your hair washed you will recieve a head massage and also they constantly offer you a drink while you have your cut… and you can ask for a beer not just a cup of tea! Brilliant Service!
