Another great Peacock location, this one much smaller but with the same great coffee and service. Haven’t tried any of the food here but the breakfast menu looked just delicious. I’ll be back on another occasion to try that! My usual of dirty chai was just as delicious here as another other I’ve ever tried.

This review is for their other location near Christchurch: Great place for an afternoon tea and scone. The place is small and comfortable with a really nice upstairs seating area. They make great lattes, have a nice Irish breakfast blend that is full leaf and their fruit scone and selection of jams was excellent. We went here two days in a row we were so happy with it. It’s in a great location just across the corner from Christchurch cathedral.

Now this was worth the wait! As much as good food I appreciate good service, both customer and from wait staff, and this place played a blinder. The manager contacted me to apologise that I had been disappointed on previous occasions trying to get some breakfast and invited myself and some colleagues down to try it, and boy, was it good! They kindly kept us a table and we all salivated over the menu before placing our orders. We almost all chose different things, from a scone — which was very generously sized, right through to full Irish breakfasts. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and left full and happy. I myself got eggs benedict, which came smothered in really creamy hollandaise and on thick toasted brioche. It was such a generous serving that lunch was a babybel and dinner a cuppa soup! Also having spoken to the manager, I can confirm that breakfast is served to 11am only, but tasty cakes are available all day!

Its nice and has a warm and cosy touch, but not as the Peacock Green in Christchurch. I did not really like the food that much but its just a matter of taste. They have nice scones and some cakes, tea, coffee and nice hot chocalatee.

Favourite haunt for breakfast. I can’t go past their fruit salad, though the eggs look mighty tempting on a cold morning(not to mention the pastries!) Peacock Green is also a super busy lunch spot. Their sandwiches are practically an institution — or if you need warming up: their soups and daily hot dish specials are not to be missed. Cloud Picker beans make for delish coffee — though you might want to ask for a small rather than the giant take away cups. There’s no peacocking here– this is legitimately a lovely place to visit.
