Next

Next is alright. This Next is alright, albeit a bit small compared to the other Nexts I’ve been to in Dublin.
The clothes are priced well for what you get. Some jeans come including a belt, nice belts at that.
Their range of office wear is quite good too, it’d be one place I’d go going I had to make an effort to be extra presentable at work ;)
Some of the casual or going out clothes I find a bit dull, but always worth a look in case there’s that top or dress that is you.
A-​OK… NEXT!

As Nexts go this one is not great in my opinion. It’s really small & the selection of clothes is quite limited. According to one staff member who shall remain nameless if next don’t believe an office person would wear the clothes to a work environment, then the grafton street store doesn’t get them in! Boo!
Granted, it’s not a million miles to Jervis street for a better selection. Still not very convenient though.

This Next is a bit small I must say. The shop is really very cramped as they try and fit as much as possible in. I was a bit disappointed by the Xmas gifts section this year. There was a much bigger section there last year.
It does however have a great selection of work related clothes that are really reasonably priced. Worth a look in if you are looking for something smart casual.

Next’s reputation preceded itself for me, as I’d read some reviews on Unilocal before ever stepping foot in the store. I’d expected really conservative, out-​dated outfits suitable for grandpas and school teachers. What I found was not anything even remotely close to that. The stuff was pretty good, nothing dazzling but your basic, well, clothes. That people everywhere are wearing. Sure it’s not Topshop, but not everyone dresses like that, you know! I still thought most of it was fashionable. Some of the items were a bit more conservative, but would be good for the office or a girl who doesn’t like to show her junk off all the time.
I thought the men’s and children’s sections were better than the women’s. The guys stuff was probably even more on trend than the women’s and the kid’s stuff was cute and seemed really durable, not to mention affordable.

Next isn’t very hip or cool at all but in the past few years it really has started to change its image around and its stock. There is actually some stuff for the under 30’s here now!
The quality of clothes here I find to be great and the suits and jackets and smart work ware excellent value and a good fit and style.
Their swim ware is one of the best lines on the high street. They always have a great selection of styles and cuts, colours and patterns and you can mix and match tops and bottoms. They are also great for bigger girls!
They have a good men’s section too, excellent value shirt and tie sets for Dad’s birthday and Father’s Day and a lovely petite section too!

Next doesn’t have a terribly trendy reputation and hardly perched on the cutting edge of fashion. However, it hasn’t managed to stick around all these years without doing something right — somebody somewhere is shopping there!
It’s the kind of dependable, solid shop that’s been knocking around somewhere in the back of my consciousness (dark place that it is) ever since my mum brought me in to buy fleecy and colourful winter gear in the Septembers of my youth. I can’t say too much for the ladies fashion — certainly not obnoxious but perhaps a bit conservative — but the children’s wear is remains good quality, colourful and a good fit for the childers. Not a bad place to pick up some pressies for the babs. You always see pretty convincing blown up photos of carefree kids posing by trees in their Christmas gear so I reckon this could be a winner for Christmas outfits too.

Isn’t it strange the pandemonium that accompanies Next’s sales? The rest of the year, you’d never hear any talk from anyone about going shopping at Next, but when the sales come along, there’s people queuing all hours of the morning along Grafton St. Pure madness, and you wonder how they manage to keep going between sales.
Clothes-​wise, Next is not that dissimilar to Marks and Spencers, but kind of the old and crappy Marks and Spencers that used to boring Grandad clothes, not the current incarnation of cool Marks and Spencers wot have Take That in their ads.
So yeah, Next, bit of a strange one. Good if you want to get a nice sensible shirt for your Dad.

top shop is another great place to shop, they have such a great range of clothes from fashionable to classic… the clothes are a bit pricey, but still reasonable enough for great quailty clothes. you get what you pay for in Next

Next sells clothes that are of very high quality. They sell casual and smart casual clothes which are great for work. This particular store has women’s, men’s and children’s clothes. The only problem with the Grafton street shop is that it is very pokey and small. The stairs are quite steep to the ground floor too and I’m unsure if there is a lift.

Next always has a lovely variety of women’s clothes. I especially like their jumpers and jeans which are comfortable and fashionable. They also have a variety of accessories including mirrors, make-​up, socks and bath sets which make great presents.

I love Next! The quality of the clothing is fantastic, especially jeans and cardigans which will be grown out of quicker than it wears out! They do sometimes seem to be a little behind with the latest fashion trend and I feel they could maybe have a slightly younger feel to some of the designs. Next do put customer service first… you will always get a refund or exchange! The directory offers a good service too and I like the fact you can order and have your items delivered or returned through the store. Next is probably the best high street store for all because it really is long lasting.
