Genuinely highly skilled and passionate about precision hairdressing, the team at Robert Chambers are experts with difficult hair ie: Curly, too thick, too think, receding hairline, fringes etc. We provides only Experts Stylists with a minimum of 10 years experience. Our Experts are Masters in the art of precision cutting, bespoke colour solutions and expert advice for unruly hair.

Passionate about the hairdressing standard they deliver to their customers, our team of highly trained and talented Experts take the time to listen and personalise our clients individual look to achieve the very best results, making their hair stylish and easy to maintain in between visits.

The Robert Chambers Hair Salons provide only the best training for staff and students alike. Aiming to educate our clients along the way.

History

Established in 1983.

Robert Chambers has been at the forefront of Irish Hairdressing for over 40 years.

A true Irish Family Business, Robert’s daughter Tamar and son Athos are an integral part of the future of the Robert Chambers Hairdressing Group.

Robert Chambers Hairdressing is currently Celebrating 40 years of the Flag Ship Salon and 31 years of Ireland’s First Established Hairdressing Academy. Incorporating Lunatic Fringe, established in 1991, The Robert Chambers Brand excludes quality, a friendly professional environment and an eclectic range of choice for any age, budget or choice of environment.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert C.

Business Owner

Robert opened his first salon in 1973. He was the first hairdresser to open a hairdressing school in 1982, launched by the beautiful Britt Ekland, and the first hairdresser to be inaugurated into the Irish Hairdressing Hall of Fame.

Robert began his hairdressing career in 1965 in The Witches Hut in Dublin & trained with Vidal Sassoon in London.

Robert Chambers, Lunatic Fringe and The Academy are thriving in the beautiful classic bay-​windowed Victorian building in Grafton Street spread over 3 floors.

Lunatic Fringe @ RC and The Academy @ RC are also located on Liffey Street on the north side of the city.

Robert is still passionate about cutting hair and is available 2 days a week.
