Vanilla matcha latte could have been more vanilla-​y, but no matter. Raspberry almond flourless cake was on point. I enjoy the place’s name.

I loved Insomnia Soy Hot Chocolate anyway and I’m also lucky enough to count myself as selectively lactose intolerant (hence the soy hot chocolate). The lady who served me not only did it with a smile but also double checked if I was allergic to milk before making it. 1st time that’s ever been checked and I’m really impressed.

Can’t believe there’s no review for this centrally located Insomnia café yet!
Perhaps due to the location to the slightly edgy Jervis Luas stop, people tend to steer clear? Fear not, the café is warm and welcoming; the glass fronts provide a great spot for people watching. And no matter what time/​day you visit, you always get served quickly and find a seat.
Oh — coffee and cake for € 3.75 too — woop woop!
