Ok for a pitstop while shopping. Selection of sandwiches, wraps along with pastries. The coffee isn’t great and brewed too hot and not as good as its sister location in Blackrock. The staff here not exactly bursting with the joyd of life.

Not at all bad for breakfast. I had the breakfast bap(similar fare in Avoca but, alas, not nearly as good here).OH just had toast. Two excellent flat whites and we’re good to face the rigours of Saturday shopping. The complimentary copies of the Irish Times are a nice touch — but not to be taken away, mind.

Incredibly tasty sandwiches, amazing staff — there was one guy on the sandwich counter, huge queue of customers — he just kept his head down, didn’t miss an order, didn’t skip a beat. he managed to stay helpful and(at least outwardly) happy as well. …not stupidly expensive either which was nice! The scones looked amazing but Wifey spotted a sort of huge éclair topped with toffee… we shared it, it was heart stoppingly filled with whipped cream, it was fantastic.

Dont know if having a scone and tea can really make me recommend or not recommend somewhere but I went here for Tea with my Mam because after being dragged through the shop i needed somewhere to sit and get a caffeine fix. We just got a scone and tea each. The scone was WHOPPER big. The pic I added doesnt really do it justice. Fresh out of the oven because it was still warm. Big dollop of Jam. Tea was in a cute little terracotta pot and had a lovely big mug to drink it from(hate these palces that have teeny little cups) € 9 for 2 teas and two scones. Probably a lil pricey but i had no complaints. The man serving at the til was pleasent and it was a grand lil spot to sit amongst the hussle and bustle

Located on the second floor of Arnotts, I checked out Homemade by Clodagh during a shopping trip with my other half. After traipsing around looking at cardigans and jumpers which all looked the same, I was looking forward to some respite. My girlfriend had the cannelloni with salad and I had the chicken and broccoli bake. At 11.95, I thought it was a bit steep but it did look appetizing and came with a choice of potatoes/veg. We tucked in. I looked across to see my girlfriend making a face. She went back to the counter, cannelloni cold. The waitress heated it up again with a grumpy face, no apology. She had to scrape the cannelloni of the salad plate to heat it. The GF had to ask her to remove a load of lettuce leaves before if was nuked in the microwave. Some of the cannelloni was lost in the transfer, a small portion was left on her return. We tucked in again. I enjoyed my dish and even went up for coffee and dessert. I picked a fairly large piece of chocolate cake. It looked good, served with a healthy dose of cream. I tucked in. Disappointing. It was dry and crumbly with not too much flavor. Unheard of, we left over half the cake. Overall, nice décor but staff not overly friendly, service not great and expensive for what you get.

Very expensive for a self service café. € 11.95 for a dried out cottage pie. Cans of coke etc are € 2.
