This was such an excellent find in Dublin! They have some of the best food and coffee around! It’s relatively cheap and such beautiful décor inside and outside. If I’m back in Dublin, I will definitely go here again!

Nice quiet place for a lazy Sunday brunch. The only thing I didn’t like was the waitresses insisted on clearing our table as each of us finished our meal. I finished my sandwich and my plate was whipped away… my wife finished her coffee and it was taken away. then my wife finished her quiche and the plate it came on was duly taken to be washed… and so on I would go back but I am going to bring a big stick to defend my plates against to over exuberant waiting staff.

This is a great little find. We went in at 6 for an early dinner not knowing they are a breakfast/lunch place only. Even though it was getting to closing time, the servers were friendly and didn’t tell us to get out at a certain time! The deli has a relaxed atmosphere and great décor. I had the Bacon/brown bread sandwich and it was delicious! Can’t go wrong with bacon! The latte was also very delicious. Will totally go back again!

The menu is small but everything sounds tasty. Breakfast is only served until 3, will have to come back for that. Service was quite slow and they forgot my sandwich. It was very busy, so I’ll forgive them for that :) They didn’t charge for my coffee then, which was very nice. The sandwich I ordered was very tasty and the boyfriend had the soup of the day(tomato-basil soup), which was lovely too. Would definitely come back.

Had such a bad experience!!! I think that, if the staff want to go out on the Saturday night, i think that a restaurant is not the place to work. The food is average, wine list uninteresting but cheap. Lights fully on, no music, everything was screaming :“Get the hell out”!!! Can’t wait to see how long they’ll last, bets are opened.

Good to see the Pichet empire expanding. Gibson’s is a great spot for lazy mid-week mornings in Dublin when all you want to do is read the paper with an excellent coffee and a perfect pastry. I lucked out and got a stool at the window where I sat happily for an hour watching the world at work. I’ll be back to try the lunch offerings but judging from their morning fare and the little oddities scattered around the place it should be spot on.
