Cool spot on your way to work when you need a caffeine fix! The coffee is tasty and freshly made by professional staff. There are also a nice variety of muffins and cakes that are good, though not amazing!

Solid if uninspiring corporate caffeine dispensary. Couches look comfortable but will pop your vertebrae out at five paces. Some of the staff take a long time to make your coffee so don’t go if you’re in a rush. They probably have free wifi judging by the amount of eager beavers squinting over their laptops at each other.

Sooo… I knew this probably wasn’t going to go very good. Caffe Nero what can I say, as a new café in this area… Yep, well done on the kit out of the café, it really is ace and I love the décor however unfortunately, the coffee is not up with the standard of your close neighbours so for me, this really was a one time visit! What I also think you will struggle with is the freshness of all the other café’s neighbouring you… Yes, there is a wide selection of sandwiches available however it’s all pre-made and at € 4.50 for sandwich, I can’t bring myself to pay that when next door, I can choose from an open fresh deli for the same price or although pre-made, another one of your neighbours just pre-make them in store that morning, again from fresh produce… It’s a no brainer!

There are many places that offer coffee from the Station Building vaults on Hatch Street: Liberte Mortons Peacock Green And not to mention in the immediate vicinity: Starbucks Art Of Coffee Café Sol There’s more in the nearby streets: Doughboys Pig & Heifer O’Briens Birdcage Bakery Gosh, what did we all do in a former life to deserve a wealth of coffee houses!?! But I digress, I’m here to talk about Caffè Nero, the new addition to the gang. They’ve outfitted Vault 7 really well, the décor is great and I love the floor tiles especially. Is it wrong that I want to take a picture of the tiles and post it to Instagram? But down to business, the coffee is nice. Not the best I’ve had in Dublin but better than most of the places nearby. I had a triple chocolate muffin last week and it was just OK. Muffins don’t seem to be as good anywhere these days. However I was given a sample bag of mini pastries this morning for free. The pain au chocolate was excellent. I assume the mini croissant and raisin danish were enjoyed. The peeps I gave them to certainly didn’t complain. Final word to the staff. They always seem nice, friendly and polite when I’ve been served.

As coffee chains go, Café Nero is my favourite, and its good to see that they have finally moved into Ireland. This Café Nero is a particularly nice one, located in an old railway bay so it adds lots of character. They serve good coffee too. Its big, its clean, the staff are friendly, its my go to place for coffee if I’m in the area. The dark chocolate bars I loved so much when I lived in London and frequented Café Nero are not here, would like to see them again.

I love this chain of coffee shops, great quality served well, was very fond of them in London and now what could be better then to have them sprouting like bamboo shoots in Dublin! This will be a unique location for the café, admittedly, amongst a row of no less then four cafès/bistros, locals will be spoilt for choice.
