Service was excellent. I ordered the smoked salmon salad and my son ordered the burger. Both great! Only downside-​the cost and $ 65US.

In need of sustenance after a long day in HK so dropped into this place. Friendly service with a bonus of 20% off wine bringing prices to a most reasonable level for Hong Kong. I had a generous serve of Mellon, Spanish Ham with a mint olive oil dressing. Fresh and tasty. The Barbera was easing up nicely ahead of our main of chorizo paella.
Friendly service, pleasant and not bad for its price.

Zelo has become my favorite restaurant for set lunch at Pacific Place from today. I’d still go to Thai Basil for a curry fix, but Zelo has a great set lunch for just 228HKD (188HKD if you go for buffet only). The place was really quiet at around 2pm when we got there and the service is quick, extremely polite and attentive. I had a quick look through the mains menu included in the set and hesitated whether to just stick to the buffet. I finally went for the whole experience and ordered some grilled sardines with vegetables — a bit of a summer nostalgic thing.
The buffet is excellent: it isn’t big but there’s enough variety for every taste. There are typical Spanish dishes like tortilla and croquetas, but there are also Italian cold cuts (spicy salami, Parma ham), smoked salmon, mussels, some pasta dishes, potato salad, grilled mushrooms, quinoa salad, sliced almonds… and a salad bar, with a ton of greens and vegetables to choose from. At the end of the buffet bar they had some sauces, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and a few sliced fruit plates. I love a good buffet and after two visit I was ready for the main dish. I must admit the sardines were a bit of a disappointment, they tasted okay. Maybe I had really high expectations (in my memory: fresh sardines being picked in the sea and taken to the grilled right after!!!). The set includes a drink or coffee and I had a espresso, which was good enough for a final touch to the meal.
I also really enjoyed the atmosphere, elegant but pretty chilled out. I’m coming back!
