Dumplings in Hong Kong? This is the place! Small, unpretensious, low-​cost, with friendly, englishspeaking employees. Also suitable for vegetarians.

Stopped by for a quick bite and asked the waitress for the house specialties. She mentioned that they were famous for their dumplings. I ended up ordering their standard pork and chive dumplings and the zha jiang mian. The sauce on the noodles were crazy salty, I shouldn’t have mixed it all together. Very disappointing. The dumplings were ok, but nothing to write home about. They also put dill in their pork/​chive dumplings which is a odd mix of flavors. All in all, not bad, but wouldn’t be my first choice.

Good quality dumplings and nice spicy noodles. Reasonably priced and very satisfying. The staff were also very friendly and spoke good English. Wellington street is a hot bed for restaurants

I’m so happy I stumbled upon this place.
It’s a local joint. Not fancy what-​so-​ever. But that’s OK for me!
When I went to Shanghai for a holiday, I ate so many dumplings. After coming back to HK, I didn’t know where to get some.
Anyway, we walked by and I saw «Beijing Dumplings» written on the window. Yum yum yum! I was looking for Shrimp Dumplings — pan friend, but it seems they don’t have just shrimp. And they only had ONE out of the list of 10 with shrimp. So, that’s a downer.
In any case, I still enjoyed my «shrimp (mixed with two other ingredients) pan friend dumplings». Its about 55 $HKD for 10 and an extra 10 $HKD to pan fry it.
They wrap and cook the dumplings upon order so you know it’s a fresh bite!
If you don’t decide to pan fry it, it’s still good!
