Tsui Wah Restaurant

First, the positives:
This chain restaurant provides delicious breakfasts and lunches at outstanding prices (averaging about $ 45 Hong Kong dollars ($ 5.80 USD as of May 24, 2015).
The menu afforded a good selection of soups, rice dishes and continental-​style breakfasts. The fried fish was delicious and wasn’t mostly breading. My fiancé had a breakfast composed of ham, scrambled eggs and a noodle-​beef soup. All were cooked decently, but the flavors were not outstanding.
The negatives:
There were small bones in the soup (I realize the need to boil bones in the soup to make a flavorful broth; however, leaving tiny bones in the soup does present a choking hazard for those who are not prepared for this. Eat cautiously.
I did notice that a server did return a sugar packet back to the main bowl after offering it to a customer. This is not a good health code practice.
Overall:
This is a decent place to grab a cheap bite to eat while out on the town.

A local chain restaurant everyone knows about and there are more than 30 of them in this city (and quite a few in the Mainland and Macao), so why is it still worth reviewing? Because of the consistency of quality and the long hours of operation. At this particular store I come for late breakfast once in a while when I am short on time, I’ve never been disappointed. Food found here are all local fair — Cantonese stir-​fry, noodles, rice and things like that — and they may cost a few bucks more compare to other mom & pop establishments, but all their stores are situated in prime locations, rent in this city is anything but cheap.
This branch is located right in the middle of a tourist spot and they open from 6:30am — 2am and till 3am on weekends. If you are staying in one of the hotels in this area and feel hungry in the middle of the night, you know where to go. And lately I have seen it’s name appearing in a lot of tourist guide books, I have a good reason to believe why.
