Happy valley is my hood. For some reason, the perception of Happy Valley is an expensive place to hang. In my opinion, each district, there are always a frivolous option and a more economical option.
This joint is my favorite economical restaurant to visit.
The food is always consistent here, I’ve never been unsatisfied with the food, everything I’ve had has been comforting and overall yummy.
One of the things I get every time i had a bad day at work is the squid ball noodles. Their squid ball noodles are super bouncy and the secret is in the spicy sauce. Theirs is super tasty and just the right amount of kick.
Another favorite is their pan fried chicken paired with shanghainese veggie rice. It’s definitely worth a try!
Service isn’t always the best here but then again, I can understand, they are really busy most of the time.
Good value, good food and always consistent.
