I’m totally happy that I only live 2 blocks away from this wet market. It is on the smaller side– but I can find most everything I’m looking for on a day-​to-​day basis. I especially like the stall run by 2 Thai women who stock things like Thai basil, super spicy Thai chilis that are more flavourful than most others out there, among other staples found in Thai cuisine. I am somewhat disappointed that there are not more fruit stalls. The fish is just as good here as it was from Ap Lei Chau market and about the same price… I really need to make it to the wholesale food market during the early hours to make a comparison, but it seems last time I was there– only large quantities were available.
