One of the more decent korean fried chicken places in HK. Been here a few times and each time didn’t disappoint me. Food: 5⁄5 Food is amazing. They serve perfectly fried chicken which is moist and not too doughy, and paired with a drizzle of basil pesto cream it’s absolutely impeccable. They also have several other flavours such as soya sauce garlic chicken, sweet and sour chicken and sweet chilli chicken. Their corn cheese is delicious, a very good pairing with the fried chicken. Alternatively you can try their Kimchi Cream Fries which pairs really well with the fried chicken. I would also definitely recommend their Carbonara Tteodokbokgi(or however you spell it) becuase it’s a really unique way of cooking rice cakes, a nice delicious fusion. Service: 4⁄5 The chefs and waiters are all korean, but they can all speak english, so communication is not a problem. They’re pretty fast in giving you want you want and serve you promptly and politely. Definitely worth a try, although the fried chicken is a little overpriced, $ 170 per dish, but I enjoy every bite of it so I’m honestly not complaining!

Newest chimek place here in Hong Kong. Great atmosphere and they sell the premium soju that Korea is going crazy over. Although I was quite excited after seeing the menu via FB, I was semi disappointed in the food– granted this is only soft opening. The cheese corn was tasty but a very small portion. The odengtang was large however the soup and broth lacked flavor and basic salt and pepper. The highlight of the place, chicken– was a healthy portion for 2 people. Disappointed that we couldn’t mix/match the flavors. We ordered the new Korean craze«Pesto» which also lacked seasoning and flavor. After about 5 minutes, the watery sauce pretty much deflated the chicken from the delicious crispiness to extreme sogginess. Perhaps a suggestion is to leave the chicken plain while serving the sauces on the side? The chef also gave us samples of their yogurt sauce and garlic sauce– both were not to my liking. Overall, I want to like this place, I really do… but I will credit it to soft opening jitters. Will give it another shot in a few months.
