Its been a long while since i visited a Ruby Tuesday as from i recalled, the food was not good at all and over priced. Most recently, i was invited here again for a family gathering and to my surprise — it was actually good. We order some nachos which was acceptable, being a non-Mexican restaurant and in Hong Kong. Next on my list was the Australian Wagyu sirloin, taste was ok as well as the baked with all the trimmings that came with it. But poor vegetables, there were overcooked and stone cold. To flush this all down, i had the classic margarita which the alcohol pour in this drink was below PAR. I had asked the waistaff if i can get a little more, but apparently it was all set in the recipe and it can not be modified. So i just asked for another shot of tequila poured it into my margaritas which made the different. Otherwise, it was like drinking a lime juice on the rocks. There was a promotion going on in becoming member for 720 days that would enable you to get –50% the entire bill, including alcoholic drinks. i guess i should come back.

I usually come here for their ribs with honey barbeque sauce. Its slow-cooked, fork-tender and when you start digging in, the meats falls off the bones easily. Fajitas, burgers, and steaks are excellent choices as well. For seafood I would try somewhere else. Its a chain restaurant so you know what you get for, just like Big Macs at McD. The expectations are set and its good every time you come here hungry. But for the long run, you may get bored because there’s no more surprises anymore. The membership is worth it. Pays off immediately if you come here with a large group.
