Natura Bisse

On Sant Jordi’s Day (Saint George, 23^rd of April) we heard Natura Bissé was holding an event at their flagship store in Pacific Place. They called it ‘Beauty Lovers Day’, to celebrate the company love for all things beautiful.
Natura Bissé is a skincare company born in Barcelona more than thirty years ago, a city for which this date means a lot: Sant Jordi is the patron of love, as he rescued a princess from a dragon and gave her a rose that grew from the dragon’s blood. As the legend goes, from that day women receive roses from men and they get a book in return. Barcelona’s streets are filled with ‘books and roses’ on that day celebrating a 500 year-​old tradition.
Naturally my colleague and I went to visit the shop at Pacific Place on this day, to see what was going on. The boutique, all in white walls, table tops and chairs, is amazingly elegant and classy. You can feel exclusivity in the air when you step in. It was very quiet when we arrived and the staff kindly explained to us what the event was about. It was being held later in the afternoon for their members and they would obviously receive a rose!
We checked out a few of their products on display: cleansing, facial care, body care, anti-aging…all of them made with carefully picked ingredients following the business focus on research.
Just looking around is a bit of a pampering experience, at least for the eyes! Talking from experience, their products are excellent and I definitely recommend checking it out if you are looking for high-​end skincare.
