What keeps me coming back? Maybe that it´s around the corner from my apartment, there´s no washing machine in my apartment, and that the owner is friendly? Laundry usually takes three days and sometimes longer. Sometimes something gets ruined, but not too often… and you´ll have to iron a lot of your clothes after picking them up dried and a bit crumpled. Lace will get ruined!!! Better wash delicate pieces by hand at home. The laundrette is convenient and affordable. Deliver the laundry in plastic bags and make sure to put light and dark in different bags, they will be washed and charged bagwise. A bag costs usually $ 40, if it is heavy, a bit more. Once I got two shirts that weren´t mine, and of course I returned them. If any of my clothes have been given to other customers by accident, I haven´t noticed yet. Advisable to wash delicates and wool by hand in your apartment sink and have them dry in the shower because at that laundrette and surely at others as well they wash everything with at least 40 degrees C, and everything gets put in the dryer. Expect minor shrinkage and as said be prepared to get some pieces ruined. Must say that I have shrunk some of my own clothing before when I did my own laundry back home because sometimes my thoughts are somewhere else when I set the temperature on the washing machine. I think here they constantly use 40 degrees. The clothes smell really good and they luckily use a washing powder that doesn´t give me rashes. That is maybe what actually keeps me coming back since most detergents and washing powders give me rashes and they smell too strong. Yes, overall, I´m a fan…
