I’m really torn about this place. 3.5 maybe? It used to be more artistically decorated. Now it’s just another restaurant. There were a lot of replica hanging on the wall and they were now all gone. I’d have thought the restaurant was named after Edvard Munch who painted«The Scream». Indeed the remaining art at the restaurant, the two large replica of Renoir, were still on the roof. But it’s separated by a door(so that they could arrange more tables? That’s a shame), so if you are not sitting close to the windows, then yes, this restaurant can’t be more generic. But then, as a «kinda» local restaurant that aims for selling French cuisine, the food here is superb. We ordered the pumpkin soup, a crab cake, a dish of foie gras and a truffle carbonara. The pumpkin soup was very good, and the chorizo was a very nice touch. Crab cake was decent, but the green apple on top were a bit too sour to go with crab cake. Foie gras was top notch(and I had foie gras at Bibo the other day… they were on par). The truffle carbonara got the perfect sauce and spaghetti, but we were already too full to finish it. Yeah, and you’d think that such a place would guarantee a 4 star right? Nope, I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and nope, it tasted nothing like Pinot Noir. They didn’t pour the wine in front of us either, so when I asked if they poured me the wrong glass of wine, the staff just looked at me and plainly said no. I don’t know to speculate here, but if you need to order wine by glass here, ask them to pour it in front of you. I didn’t finish that glass of wine.
