Really good spot for hot pot in Wanchai. Fancier than I expected. We came on a Sunday evening and had a reserved private room. Honestly it didn’t really matter too much since the restaurant was not very full but we are loud, rowdy bunch so I suppose it was good that we not bother the others too much. There were so many delicious items to choose from for our hot pot! We just elected one from our group to make the selections. We had beef, lamb, tofu skin, the veggie platter, beef meatballs, lotus root, umm… probably more that I can’t even recall. Everything was very fresh and more importantly, was very tasty. We had two giant cauldrons of split broth — both spicy and mild — one for each side of the giant table. We also shares giant bottles of beer and soda. Our total came to about $ 400 + 10% tip HKD a person(7 people) based on what we ordered which for as tasty as it was, I’m a-ok with. If you’re looking for a quick, cheaper version of hot pot, Megan’s might not be for you. But then again, you might just have to adjust how much you order.
