We had food poisoning after we are here. Can’t believe it is recommended for Michelin restaurant star list. This place is a rip off. They even charge us for hot water(which we never order). Not worth the price. Never want to come back

I like this restaurant. The food is pretty good and the service isn’t bad either. If you like privacy, you can reserve a private room. FOOD The food quality is decent. I’d give it 4⁄5. I suggest coming here in a large party so you can try lots of different things. HOWEVER, if you come in a large group, you will be seated at a large table. This can make things difficult when you have multiple hot pots on the table and some are out of reach! This is probably my biggest issue. I got pretty tired having to stand and reach to cook some of my food. LOCATION So this isn’t the greatest location if you are planning on only using the MTR. It isn’t that hard to find the building though.

We had the Hot Pot. We tried three different broth bases(which was the max). We wanted to have the whole experience and try a variety of flavors. Let me start by saying, time of day matters. Hot pot can be a pretty expensive meal. You choose your broth base or bases and each item to go in it/them. Each item is priced separately. Note, if you pick the right broth base, you don’t need to buy the use of extra spice rack(no, the spices aren’t included). If you choose a base that is spicy, know that it is truly spicy! A couple of us are very into spicy food, however it was still spicy to us but delicious :-). Twelve, one of our waitresses, was extremely helpful in helping us make selections and describing the full experience. If you’ve never had hot pot, I’d highly recommend going to this place. Plus it has been Michelin approved four years in a row.

Was really looking forward to trying this place out but don’t have anything positive to say about it. Guess if you want to dine in a place where a bunch if famous people have been then it’s okay… Food was overpriced and not better than other local hot pot places. Theres’s an English menu for those that don’t read Chinese.

I’ve tried a lot of hot pot while in Asia, but Megan’s is on another level! I had never imagined that hot pot could be reimagined with such modern finishings, innovative soup bases, and such a vast selection of dippings/sauce…and don’t even get me started with the ingredients! Top quality meat and fresh seafood… be prepare with an empty stomach and a big wallet(as it can get pricy)!

decent, quality hot pot though on the pricey side. very famous given the amount of A-listers that have been here. i would go again if in the area, but not worth it to go out of your way to eat it.

Hot pot restaurants in Hong Kong are all trying to outdo each other in terms of soup base and ingredients choices. As for Megan’s Kitchen(MK), their most famous soup is the«Tom Yam Goong Cappuccino»(based on the famous Thai soup with a whipped foam topping) which is surprisingly tasty and goes great with slices of beef cooked in this broth. As for ingredients, they featured heavily on quality beef with a small fridge displaying Wagyu and Kobe M5(top grade) beef from Australia and Japan. Meatballs made from meat or seafood are also popular with the«rainbow balls» dish attracting the most attention. It is 7 different coloured meat balls made from interesting ingredients ranging from taro to mango. On top of serving hot pot meals, MK also offer a range of cooked dishes during lunch hours which I heard are quite good. In conclusion, go there for a Hot Pot experience(from 2 people to a large party) with quality beef and meat balls. They also have a number of private rooms if you want more privacy or have a loud party going. Bottomline: beef!!!
