McDonald’s — The Peak, Peak Road, 118, Hong Kong: This McDonalds Restaurant must be THE most expensive, most awesome, spectacular real estate McDonalds has to date! McDonalds has tables for restaurant patrons absorbing the expansive views of Hong Kong and the Harbor below via the outdoor balcony: I saved a little girl from climbing over the outdoor balcony railing falling to her death; the little girl’s parents weren’t watching her because they were busy ordering their meals! FYI: It’s quite a huge drop from the outdoor balcony railing so, if you have children with you, PLEASE hold tight to their hands keeping your children AWAY from the balcony railing and refrain leaving them by themselves sitting at the outdoor balcony tables!!! BTW: Getting to the Peak and the shopping center is an arduous climb; I didn’t take the tram or the bus, I just took my time walking up to Victoria Peak via taking the escalators from the bottom of Peak Road/Nathan working my way to the top of the peak: It must’ve taken me a couple of hours hiking up to the peak. Along the way hiking up to Victoria Peak, I noticed the homes are larger and more grand, unlike where I stayed at the hostel in Mongkok where a closet is the size of most apartments! Unfortunately, arriving at McDonalds, I worked out a deluge of sweat; I had to use the shopping center’s bathroom away from McDonalds freshening myself before eating my usual QP w/cheese, small fries, and a Coca-cola. I must say the outdoor balcony was so very windy, my fries almost flew away and my cup of Coca-cola almost tipped over~THAT’S how windy it was the day I visited McDonalds!!! The wind was howling at Victoria Peak: My hair was flying standing straight up! I’ll try finding more photos of Victoria Peak but, due to being so windy, I didn’t take that many photos. After eating my QP meal indoors-it was WAY too windy eating outside the outdoor balcony, I returned to the bathroom washing my hands and brushing my teeth, I decided to snoop around checking out all the novelty stores inside the shopping center. I’m must admit, I was so very tired hiking up to Victoria Peak so, I took the downhill tram train; it only took a few minutes getting to the bottom of the peak, whereas hiking to the top of Victoria Peak took me a couple of hours!!! Augh~Never, ever will I hike to the top of Victoria Peak!
