Le Petit Sheep. Take into account the fact that I’ve only been here once, it was a couple years ago and it was my birthday — so I didn’t pay anything and I was happily tipsy. I did manage to see the bill, however. $ 280 for an all you can eat and all you can drink evening, not bad by my standards! To the place itself. It’s big, really big so don’t expect a quiet evening of reflection. The seating arrangements are designed to accommodate small to big sized groups, not a date or two friends. Because of the group-type seating it’s loud, people are their to eat and socialize, which to me brings upon it a certain type of energy that our group latched onto and increased. The food itself was tasty. On the whole they serve Mongolian hotpot, so meat, meat, and some veggies. They have different sets, we went for a lot of beef which came with dumplings, sliced beef, and some veggies. There are two choices of hotpot, a spicy boiling section or a non-spicy. In my experience you just dump half of the plate in one side and half in the other, wait 5 or so minutes then stick a spoon in — this creates a free-for-all atmosphere, so be quick or you won’t eat! I can understand how some people won’t like it. The noise, the mess(from spilling soup, or dropping meat on the table), and the groups of drunk birthday goers. But for the Birthday people, and those that like to laugh loudly and talk just as loud Little Sheep has the potential to be quite a fun restaurant.
