Lecker wars!

I came here for a quick lunch and this place delivered on the quick part of my above mentioned goal. They had one other customer at peak lunch hours which is worrying but also one of the reason why I decided to sit down. The waitress who took my order was too preoccupied listening to her friend and playing with her phone to take my order correctly. Burritos in this city are so expensive but that wasn’t the problem. Dried up rice inside my mini burrito was sprinkled throughout, spent quite a while spitting it out. If everything is closed, there’s a 7⁄11 down the street.

This is in our hood, so we decided to finally try. Although I am American, I do not long for«American» foods and thus probably my only hesitation. Although small and decidedly Hong Kong local, the food is like Chipotle. The menu is simple. It was made fresh, good quality ingredients and we really enjoyed it. My husband had a quesadilla that was giant and I had a «skinny» buritto that was equally as giant(I can’t imagine the size of the normal burrito really, for the skinny was giant to me). Big portions and also bigger prices(we paid $ 250 for two meal items, chips & quac and one mineral water… you would not pay this at Chipotle, but this is the lesson on supply and demand I suppose). Excluding my comments about price though, the food was indeed delicious. Nothing unexpected, causing a «WOW» moment in our food memory or culinarily outside the box here, but good quality, fresh, Tex Mex style food.

If you’re on the go with little time then this is a great place to grab food from. I always go for the salad or rice bowls. It’s not spectacular but it’s good and always satisfying

Stumbled upon this place after exploring the area. I would 100% recommend Little Burro after my experience. The ordering process is quick and easy and the food is amazing. Burrito and the rice bowls cost $ 75 which isn’t bad considering how much food you get. I had the BBQ chicken burrito with black beans and lime rice with the mild salsa and it was fantastic 10⁄10. The ingredients are authentic and very filling. Good vibe inside with traditional Mexican music and Mexican beer to wash it all down! When in HK I would recommend this place and when I return to HK I will be back!

The Little Burro serves the best Mexican food I’ve come across — so far, anyway — in HK. In fact, they bill themselves as a San Francisco Mission-style Mexican joint. Music to my ears! I’ve tried both the burrito and the burrito bowl. The ingredients are high-quality, from the tortillas down to the fresh and perfectly ripe avocados. The chicken and carnitas are both solid choices for your protein, though they’re both a little ‘soupy’. Love that they serve lime cilantro rice — it feels a bit Chipotle-esque, but that isn’t a complaint! Don’t skip the guac and chips… happy to have the Little Burro nearby when I’m having a mini ‘missing my Cali Mexican fare’ meltdown!

Great little place. Burito very tastefull. Super place to have in your neighborhood. Place uses good ingredients. Most important they have Sriracha sauce.

This USA mission-style Tex-mex burrito place serves up regrettably large portions in aluminum foil that flood back memories of Chipotle or Qdoba in the States. This location is on a quiet street in Sheung Wan and I am looking forward to their new location to open up in SOHO next to the escalator.

Having James and Roger behind the counter is half the fun at Little Burro. They are quick to make recommendations which never disappoint and keep you smiling right up until you walk out of the door. A great range of burritos, tacos, rice bowls and more with multiple toppings including pico de gallo and beans. Little Burro is a full house from 1pm with the Sheung Wan lunch crowd making the most of an affordable, clean food offering in an area that is light on options. The option of adding guacamole is a must for the rice bowls but pricey at $ 25 a serving. The team are so focused on food that you may have to remind them that you ordered a soda but this is never the case with a margarita which are served with enthusiasm. A great addition to the mid-range Sheung Wan dining scene.
