We usually frequent Old Shanghai when in Hong Kong. They never disappoint and this time was no exception. Xiaolongbao soup dumplings were excellent, sooo juicy, a mite bigger than Ding Tai Fung and the meat is a little softer. (So nice to have the luxury to compare!) The fried chicken half was fantastic, juicy and tender with some crispy skin. Makes me hungry just to think about it now. The Shanghai bread roll went well with it, as well as the rice. Tofu and veggie greens were also great. Of course beer to match, they have large bottles.
Oh I forgot, they give you these Shanghai salted peanuts while waiting. Wonderful. We always eat it all and they always refill.
