Love the interior décor of La Station — reminiscent of the NYC subway station(hence the name, «La Station»)! The café itself is quite small, with limited seating. My friend and I were originally seated at the bar, a bit cramped due to our large carrying bags, but luckily a high table opened up and we moved there. We ordered the following: — Blackbeard Secret(Coca-Cola with a shot of espresso) $ 40 — Definitely not what I expected at all. Interesting combination, but not particularly fond of it. — Rose Latte $ 45 — Best I’ve tasted in HK! Very delicate and delicious! You can taste the rose flavor, which I enjoyed very much. I suppose you can say I’m going through a rose-flavor phase, from my previous review, haha. — Orange Caramel Mocha $ 45– I was concerned that the caramel would make it too sweet, but it was just right. I love the combination of anything with orange and chocolate, so this was right up my alley. — Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting — absolutely divine. — Almond croissant — sublime. The food was served on a cute wooden board. The almond croissant was warmed up, perfect. Overall a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy some delicious coffee and treats!

We are in love! Paris in Hong Kong. The ham and brie sandwich was delicious. The lemonade so fresh. My sister loved her egg salad sandwich and latte. If I am ever back in Hong Kong I will be back!

Would you believe me if I tell you that I had the best rose latte and lavender latte here? Regardless if you do or if you don’t, that’s what happened. I happened to stay just across this petit coffee shop and later only I learned that they just opened when I was visiting. How should I describe this coincidence and how should I express how happy I am to bump into this beautiful coincidence? Different blends of beans are always something that I look forward to when I’m visiting a new coffee place — now that doesn’t mean that I’m very knowledgable about different kind of coffee beans, it’s just that I know what kind of blend I like. And, it’s usually the nutty kind and unusually the citrusy kind. So, there was this morning that I woke up and while walking to the MTR station, I decided to grab my morning cuppa joe at LA Station and the barista brewed my cup of latte at just the perfect temperature. Now, that’s a small gesture that I really appreciate but don’t usually ask for it from the barista. But, when you’re given a cup of latte that’s at just the right temperature which means that you could still drink your coffee elegantly despite of the fact that you’re walking fast to the MTR station — doesn’t that already make your day better? Not on the cheap side, but totally understandable as they are serving artisanal coffee. For the fragrant coffee I would willingly pay that price stated. Also, they have some pastries and sweet something at the counter too. So, if you’re looking to pick up something light for breakfast, you could come here too. I returned a few times during my last trip to HK, and will go there again for my next visit!
